See ya gotta train them early. I gots mine trained since he was 8. He is the offical veggie chopper, and onion dicer in my house. So many women now adays never learned how to cook. So I taught my boy how so he wouldnt starve or be left to only eating fast food when he leaves the house. I still have to work on a family cook book ( with a few extra copies for my sis and bro's families ) since I am the only one who remembers how to cook my mama's food now that she has passed so long ago. The constant calls of how do you make fried green tomatos.. and hoe cakes has slowed down thank goodness. ( I hate talking to those 2 yahoos.) Maybe you can make a family cook book with some basic how tos for your um hun? Gwyn

Gwyn gwyn, you're a genius. in the last week, i've had my kidlets calling up to know how to make lasagne and roast lamb. the eldest is getting married. i have a friend who makes wonderful scrapbooks. i'm thinking i might dig out all the kids' favourite recipes and some of my mom's and make it up as an engagement present. the youngest is talking about moving out. a copy for her as well, would probably be just as appreciated. (that and a hamper of common spices)

Psssst Red.... the little bastiches travel in on shoes and clothing and hitch rides from lawns and trees that way. run a little Borateam laundry detergent (sp) through your carpet like you would carpet freshener and it will break the egg cycle and kill them as they try to repopulate cause they get in the cracks around the floor boards as well. Rub it in good so that it gets to the weave under the fibers and vacuum up the excess. I use it and neither the dogs or the cat seem to have a problem with it. It really does help those who are home sick. Esp. when they live far away. They can continually refer to it. I would love to write a commercial cookbook some day with my family's recipes. ( though some of my distant realitive would hunt me down ) My mum owned resturants and we come from a large food conglomerate.. I think It would sell. Gwyn, The Disenherited Bean Queen

adores Poen and Tulip I am going back to work tomorrow... ( I will have my Dr's office fax in a note. ) I am feeling much better since late yesterday. ( the bedroom is soooo clean! and there is space in the closet now. ) I love it that when the ex gets over her bitchieness she is actually very sweet, and considerate about how much I miss my honey. I love my new cat toys I got yesterday... even though I have to keep stealing them back from Cleo. Mine damn it Mine! I love it that the boppy pillow my honey made me is so perfect to hold up the "girls" when I lay on the bed and type. ( and that it smells like her ) I love my honey most of all... I love it when---I can, after a year of not shooting, take my rifle to the range, and still keep all my rounds in the X ring at 500 yds. I L I W--- I can sit back in the hot tub, and listen to Enya on my Ipod. I L I W--- My sub waits kneeling for me outside of the shower with a towel straight from the dryer (Hasn't happened in a long time)
