OMG, I love my tattoos and they are meaningful for me. They're small cat paw prints around both wrists like bracelets. You can see them in some of the pictures of our wedding, in fact.
Christine, keep in mind that when you get a tattoo, as a woman, we gain and lose weight regularly. So think carefully about where you have it done. I have a friend that had a daisy done on her lower abdomen when she was 18 and some years, much weight gain and 3 babies later, that thing looked like one dead, wilted, faded daisy. We laughed our heads off every time we saw it. But I kept it in mind and thought long and hard before getting mine. (In fact, I waited almost 20 years before getting mine!)
