i love that its my dads 64th birthday today.... since i was a kid we have had 3 or 4 big scares where we didnt think he`d make it to his next one... tough ole baxterd i love that he and mom are going back to fuerteventura for two weeks for the second time this year (ahhhhhhhh to be retired ) partly cause the locals made them feel at home partly because my evil sister cant shanghai them into babysitting for the fortnight i love that my dad the technophobe figured out how to burn CDs last night..... know the joke about programming the VCR ? dad cant even use the digital box that well

do you have a sporting goods store around there? They sell the practical, warm ones. eta...my favorite boots are a pair of mens high top construction boots. They are a pain in the ass to get on and off..but really warm and skidproof. And they look good with jeans.

Yes, there's some around, it's just a matter of getting my energy together and feeling better. This sinus crud has whapped me upside the head. I'm thinking it's just the change in area for me since I never had sinus problems in Idaho. I'm also going to try my local riding store since they might have winter paddock riding boots that could handle the cold, slush and snow and not look like I killed a bear or baby seal. Or I may just go with whatever I can find that fits and is warm..... Rain ETA - Yikes!!1 Hiya Daddy! So that's why I couldn't post! smooches!

i love it that this black mood i was in has finally lifted. It will come back as the surgery date gets closer, but for now it is gone. Thank God.

I tried on His boots the other day and they were like clown shoes on me. Mind you, I don't have tiny feet, but they are funky which is why I have problems finding boots.
