Yes, Poen, I logged on to get an extension and looked at my account. I could have sworn that I counted those weeks correctly, but guess not! It would be a huge help, with the fall cutback and the January pay coming later in the month. I have never been so crapped out by the end of the year before. Freakin health insurance. [&:]

I think this one is the second they have authorized...but remember those first weeks you filed and got nothing, think they don't count those as anything more than waiting weeks if I remember correctly. Believe me I know what you mean about health insurance and crapped out end of year..I have a cap on my medicare advantage plan (disabled) and I hit that with my next prescription and will have to pay full cost on my meds until beginning of the year. who the HELL decided 21-24 hundred dollars was a good cap when meds cost nearly 100 each for man of them..sigh poenkitten

Snicker I love it when the freezer has 4 turkeys in it already and 2 more to come.... Thanksgiving time to stock the freezer!!! Gods they are so cheap now compared to the rest of the year. poenkitten

pffft, speak for yourself poen. btw, the pecan/pumpkin pie? i hardly got any left to bring home [:(] mind you, it was also the one with the gluten free crust, so the one i made it specifically for took home a big chunk too. she would have taken ALL of it, but she's also diabetic and um... not really diabetic friendly anyways [:)]

Glad they all enjoyed it and you got to keep a piece for yourself...I use splenda to reduce the sugar in most pies, but that one with the Karo syrup ain't gonna get any better... poenkitten

nope. corn syrup is corn syrup. [:)] the plain pecan pie was gone long before i thought of going home. 3/4 of the pumpkin pie disappeared. all but one person loved it and the other couldn't make up their mind. they kept thinking it was going to be savoury rather than sweet. over here, pumpkin is used for roasting or pumpkin soup, and thats not sweet at all.

i love it when 'oncall' is quiet. the podcasts are all interesting so far, the x-stitch is making me feel content and the apple/cinnamon tea is warming me up from the inside out. i love it when life is good. i even love it when life is not so good, because i know good is around the corner and it will be very good indeed.

sighs contentedly I love it when there is a gorgeous sunrise peeking through the clouds, casting a pinkish-peach light and there is a delicate snowfall drifting lightly down in a white glow. It's so gorgeous.... And I'm inside with a hot cup of tea, watching the beauty of it.
