I love that my 'favorite coworker' wanted me to come in on Friday, work from 7am - noon, then come BACK at my regular time (5pm - midnight)... so he could go BROWSE!!! Not even SHOP!! (according to one of the guests I spoke to .. thats what he told her). When I told him I would be happy to come in at noon and work until midnight (STILL giving him a half day off) he said no, never mind, and then said he'd make sure I wouldnt have Jan 22nd off (the day the Pirate arrives). SO I spoke to my mgr, and told him what was going on.. I explained why 7am - noon wasnt feasible (hell, I dont even fall asleep usually until close to 4am) and that I'd offered to work noon to midnight, and also made sure he knew that come hell or high water, I WILL NOT BE HERE ON THE 22nd of January! HE said ok :) I love my manager :)

Back from a successful performance here with a modest audience who enjoyed the play. The actors played their hearts out and I was so proud of them and was genuinely so happy when the applause was so heartfelt. It's good to be back... :)

I love that I found out that my new little girl kitty is a hugger! Now if I could convince her that the boys aren't going to hurt her....but at least she's out of the cupboard and up on the bed. Didn't eat dinner, either. And it was Fancy Feast!

I absolutely love & adore my family!! They're so flexible & wonderful & love me to pieces! I was going to celebrate Thanksgiving by myself & had plans to do the whole dinner. When I called my nephew to offer leftovers to him & his family, they insisted that I cancel the turkey order & come to his wife's parents' home in the town about 45 minutes south of here. They would drive me & bring me home. Tonight, I started feeling like I didn't want to go, so I called him & told him & he was totally fine with it. I just love those people to death!!!!! If I coulda chosen family, it would have been this one. They completely "get" my depression. They get concerned, but never ever tell me to just "buck up"!! I have so very, very much to be thankful for. runs off looking for whatever kleenex samba left me

hugs Linea, Stella, GT, Hib, and all the rest I love it when I stay an extra 3 hours at work, and get everything on my desk done, so when I go back Monday, I'll have a nice clean slate to start with. [:)] I love it when Thing 1 is at a sleepover and Thing 2 is at her dad's, and I'm enjoying the peace and quiet.
