I love eating piles and piles of leftover thanksgiving dinner, and feeling all fat and happy and lazy, and then laying around under the christmas tree and staring at the lights and fire in the fireplace.  It's tradition here that, at 12:01 a.m. on the day after thanksgiving, the christmas stuff gets put up and turned on (aside from the outside lights, those get put up earlier, because it would be too damned cold otherwise, but still not turned on).  I love listening to the christmas music too!  Again, tradition.  I'm not allowed it around other people all year long, except for from the day after thanksgiving until 12:00 a.m. Jan, 2.  Then I can have all the christmas music I want. :)

I love it when my picture was switched to the one I just like better because it's more giggly, which is pretty much how I look at any given time (unless the Things are making me mentally unstable, which makes me more like [:o]  )

I love it when I bring home a box of odd glassware that looked like junk from the storage unit and my Dad looks through it and finds a treasure.  He said he had something for me and I was like a little kid.  He had found a salt and pepper shaker/toothpick holder set that belonged to his mother with her name painted it on it, from 1910.  He got all misty eyed when he gave them to me and told me take good care of it.  He said if everything else in the unit got trashed, he wouldn't care because this was the most cherished item he could think of.

grins...I got to be a fangirl one last time last night in another city. I met up with another fan girl friend which was great and we flew to Brisbane. 

The bass player knew my name and smiled when he saw me....little me!!!!!!  The manager knew my name and smiled when he saw me!!!!!!  The bass player brought his partner over, she is also the bands publicist, and introduced her to us and she said her partner had told her all about us!!!! And she turned to me and said...omg I know you, you write on their forum!!!! 

I was thinking...omg all the fangirl stuff I write.....I hope she only reads my gig reviews and things like that where I try to be a sort of grown up.  She then said the band hould hire me to blogg all about their tours!!!!!!!  OMG now that would be a dream come true.

They asked us if we wanted to go out with them a the band was going to kick on to celebrate the end of the tour and both the bass player and the manager were trying to cajole us into going. But we were knackered so we went home.  Smiles....I had the best time.

smiles...I also hade a wonderful chat with one of the wonderful people who hangs around on this side tonight and he really helped me a lot [:)] So a big thankyou to that person.

Wanders.. that so rocks!   There are a couple of bands I'd love to do that for.. glad you had a great time!
