Status: offline 		I was looking at Armour earlier..I like to be an informed patient ( my doctors hate it). My problem is that I still have half a functioning thyroid...go figure..the stupid radioactive iodine only killed half the bloody critter..so, it is not producing enough to do without a supplement but the supplement either puts me over or under..right now I am alternating 100 mg and 112 mg doses to stay level(ish). Yep I do have a lot of symptoms, but I am tackling this one balance at a time.

Armour is one of the 2 that i take.....They (whoever the th ey are) say that it works more effectively because it's a 'natural' thyroid replacement.  Where as things like levothyroxine are synthetic.  Every doctor i've encountered here has wanted to take me off of it  (because it's an 'older' medication) and i refuse to allow them...
i think i'd prefer to have a half working thyroid than none at all...*checks amount of weight gained after surger* YEP, i would prefer that.

I love when Kali makes me laugh and choke and sputter, and listens to me calmly keep my electric skillet from going up in flames, while we talk on the phone.  LOL

He came over for a little bit tonight, but ended up talking to Christine, and listening to us giggle about drinking margaritas once she's on the east coast, and the Cinqo de mayo/Red's birthday party that she'll have no reason to miss this upcoming year. 

We'll try to get you on the phone, doll baby...  but gary only knows what you'd say to Him...  *dear me*    LOL

I think He has a yummy voice, too... and I've heard it for the past 5 plus years, and I STILL get giggly when I talk to Him. 

I thought it was cute when He got off the phone with one of the lovelies on here, and said, "Are all of your friends so giggly and easily flustered?"  I looked rather smug at Him over my shoulder and said, "Yes, they're just like me."     He laughed.

He's a good man, too, which makes me very happy to call Him not only my DaddyBoo or Master, but my dearest friend.
