I love it when... I get out of a speeding ticket by admitting I'm a pervert.
I'm on my way to the Ladies Tea this afternoon, where the servers are all naked men. I'm running late due to other obligations, and I still have to stop and pick up someone that I offered a ride. So doing 80 or so in a 65 zone, get off the freeway, and there is a traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp which is red. I'm in the lane to turn right, and there is one car ahead of me. A motorcycle officer pulls up beside my window and motions for me to roll it down. Oh keeeerap.
(I'm wearing a big froufrou black hat with black and white flowers and ribbons and all, a black lacy top and a black skirt, and a white open overshirt. I'm also wearing black stockings and my black boots, and my skirt is hiked up a bit; you can tell I'm wearing stockings - not that I was flashing anyone, it's just cooler that way. And white gloves.)
The officer looks me over (looking down into my car), then he says: "Running late are we?"
Me: "Yes sir, I'm late for a tea party" (duhhhhh, I don't dress like this all the time; this is definitely NOT a ladies' hat and gloves sort of town)
Cop: "You're doing over 75 or 80 because you're late to... a tea party???"
Me: "Yes sir, a tea party. The servers are all naked men."
Cop (very slowly): "Naked men." (by now the car in front of me has turned right, but we're going nowhere)
Me: "Yes sir, a Ladies' Tea party. The servers are all naked men."
Cop: "I seeeeeee. Well, you slow down now and have a good day."
