ORIGINAL: LadyHibiscus My most graceful dismount was when I was on a horse that had the bit in his teeth and tried to sweep me off a branch... I did a tuck and roll worthy of a stuntwoman and came back to my feet! The horse I learned to ride on originally (Missy) loved to try to get her rider off in any way she could. She was the trickiest bitch of a horse I've ever ridden. She loved to look you in the eye and deliberately step on your foot. She's also the one who threw me onto a hood of a car..... see, this is why I am trying to convince Soft that Mares are a no go for us. Anything that is 1200 lbs with PMS 50 times worse then mine is just a bad bad idea. My first horse Ginger~ a fantastic QH Mare was a nightmare indeed. I loved her silly.. but she was one big mean bitch. She *hated* my sister, and brother. She would go out of her way to bite, stomp, kick, and do other nasty things to my sister. My sister was a lead dangle toy for my Ginger. She would gallop off with Nena holding on for dear life onto her lead, and go up on her hind hooves and swing my sister back and forth like a rag doll. Even stalions I have met are just big ol doll babies. Jazz was cut at 15 years old.. and still had that stalion mentality.... biggest doll baby ( well him and Bear) I had ever met. He wasnt terribly fond of most folks... tolerable... but a big ol puddin bear for me. Both were 17.5 hh. ~ I likes em big. Amazon needs a tall horse so she doesnt peddle her feet on the ground. LOL Gwyn
