Status: offline 		I used to work on a childrens cancer ward. They were so full of life compared to adults with cancer. It breaks your heart when you go to visit them one day and the bed is empty.

It takes what it takes.  For some the slightest nudge, for some the 2X4 between the eyes, for REALLY stubborn people *like me* it requires an Oldsmobile resting on one's head to get one's attention.  I thank God He threw that Olds at me & that I was able to learn that lesson.  Been celebrating ever since.  WOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!

So some of us are waaaaaay more stubborn than others

I remember 2 boys, both 3 years old, both in diapers, neither could walk. One could talk to you & was so intelligent! One day he & I were on the floor in his room, playing a game & he saw an orderly walk by delivering lunch, he yelled, "HEY"!! I Said HEY!, the orderly walked back, "Yeah, little man, what's up"?
"Where's my lunch"?? He wasn't allowed food by mouth, only IV.
The orderly didn't know what to say so little man said, "You got my meds"?  He loved when I put him in the wagon & wheeled him to the connecting bridge so he could watch all the foot traffic below :)
He especially loved when I brought my Poloaroid! Little camera ham, that's what he was!! All the kids in that Ward loved the camera!
The second little boy was completely bed ridden & paralyzed. One day he was unusually down/depressed so I asked for help to pick him up. I had to gown up in full gear & have him positioned in my lap w/all his tubes. That took about 20 minutes. The minute he was on my lap, he puked (shup Clumsy) & immediately started giggling.
Whatever works to make them feel better, right?? Lol, we had to spend more time putting him back in bed so I could re-gown :))
He also laughed uncontrollably whenver I took off my glasses & put them back on. He thought it was my version of Peek-a-boo I guess. I'd stand there forever & just take my glasses off/put back on.
Took so little to make them happy.

I love it when I get up & get to the gym only 10 minutes late for my workout even though I stayed up reeeeeeeeeally late last night/this morning.  I love it when Stacy & I are laughing & talking so much during the workout that we both forget to count & I do waaaaay more reps than I thought I would & with more weight too.  And these people who were working out near us go by & say, "You're having way too much fun!!"  I told him when he got to my age, he'd have a lot more fun too!!  *snickersnort*

Awwww, but you can be thankful... It was 1:00 in the morning your time when she called me, and I was just leaving a munch (10:00 pm my time). 

Of course, that's nothing compared to the blushing bride calling me at 1:30 in the morning my time (at least I think she did... maybe it was all a dream... oh god, I wonder what I said...).

AND you're lucky! Last week when I was doing my situps I couldn't stop laughing & Coach Creamy Crotch kept adding 10 reps until I ended up doing 90 instead of 50.
