I know I would have given anything to have someone who could have restored two old dressers I had..beautiful inlaid fruit-wood peonies and fleur-de-lis in Maple..dovetailed joins, that had been covered over in white enamel..they were over 200 years old..sigh..my ex sold them for a song.

poen i was thinking of that and that will definitely be a consideration for the future, i made great money doing that when i lived in vegas.  problem is, to do that i need a vehicle and i don't have one at the moment.

Christine - I'm wondering - if you have the skills and background, perhaps people in the area would be willing to bring their pieces to you to work on in your home?  I'm not sure, of course, of your setup, if you even have the room, but there are definitely people with money there to possibly make that work.
