We have one Rain..Komodo..150 lbs of "Good Ol Boy attitude" in neutered pants, the trick is to get him to accept another, but he has been pining for Ebony who we had to put to sleep in February and we think he may be ready to accept another dog. Ebony was Chow/Belgian mixed and was 16 years old. We will know tomorrow, we expect the settling of the dominance thing, but this one is submissive and a lover so..may be a good match. You would be hard put to find a more beautiful, stubborn and loyal breed. I love them. Trapped the first collar is always around the heart and soul...that is what that means... Bear I am surprised you haven't strapped on the snowshoes yet and are treking over hill and dale to PA. poenkitten (hoping she can sleep tonight)

I love it when Thing 1 has been so very calm and happy for the past few days. He takes his meds without being prompted, goes to bed earlier so he can get up without struggling, started making his lunch so he can have what he wants to eat rather than cafeteria food. He even asked me to make sure not to let him oversleep tomorrow so he could take his shower in the morning without being rushed. He's been extra snuggly and respectful of everyone. It's wonderful. I'm also thrilled that his doctor told us last week that he may not need to be on all of his meds for life. If his bio-chemistry adjusts, he may only need them until he reaches adulthood. For these things, I am really grateful. ps - Pure, I'm loving your news about your brother, too. You know I understand all too well. [:)]
