FourQ some of the bugs in Florida are not to be taken lightly. Hit them with a brick and they carry it off then come back and demand more so they can finish building their house. Some of the spiders here WILL chase you, I have gotten to be a deft hand at throwing sacrificial people to them or hitting them with the wasp spray from 10 feet away. Christine...you are going to do fantastically no matter what you decide and where to decide to go.; there is a strength about you that makes titanium look like mud...reach deep and stand tall. poenkittten

i love that i'm going out to a jazz performance in a cafe (much) later tonight. i love that it's one of a handful of times that i've ventured out on my own into the big wide world of etertainment for adults! think at 43 i'm a bit behind????? [:D]

Christine The wolf spiders have no fear I dont think. poen does not like spiders period. The back door was opened so Komoto could go in and out and one wandered in and she freaked and pointed. BP and I just got a peice of paper and scooted him out the front door. poen said after.....You broke my rule. Spiders are fine outside but if they cross my doorway they die. Spiders dont scare me unless they are of the poisonous variety...now fying stinging things will put me on the run since I am allergic to them and a bite is not a minor thing. Sage who is doing her part to safe the wolf spider species.

ugh...in salt lake there was a big fuzzy black spider with white spots on it on my screen door. when i tried to reach for the handle it turned and faced my hand like it was going to pounce on me. i don't think i've ever moved so fast in my life away from there and to the back door. it just gives me the jeebles thinking about it.

I love that I rejoined Gevalia and we now have more than just a small french press to make coffee, the amount I use in the french press is near to what is perfect for a full pot. Weird how that works. Now if I had just set the automatic to brew in the morning instead of evening we would have had fresh coffee ready for us this morning

I heard there was a guy in Florida who interbred spiders and chickens so everyone got a leg at the bar b cue. He was asked what they tasted like and answered 'Dunno, haven't caught one yet'

I've heard about spiders the size of your head. A mate from Ohio was joking on that one of the spiders in her bath tub made the Aliens spider look like a quarter (25 cents for the Brits - about the size of a 10 pence piece). I'm told a garden shovel got rid of it.... that and the coals from a barbeque. Edit - lol MadAxeman. I love that.... Can't help but wonder about that barbeque now......[;)]
