HUZZAH for Lushy!! I am down 20 pounds since the first of the year, and now I can actually start to get some exercise! I know I will never get my young body back, but since I have diabetes big time on both sides of the family, losing some of the pork is just smart. My arthritis might like it, too... Who wants to go roller skating with me?

I love that the guys at the brake place got my car done early today... and that the manager has said he'd look into finding cheap trans repair/replacement for me :)

I love it that I e-mailed the people I interviewed with yesterday. The Lead Instuctor program head said she enjoyed meeting me too. Then she said."I am sure we will be in touch soon". Wooo[sm=banana.gif]

You sent a thank-you via e-mail? Maybe I'm a little too old-school but I've always been told you were supposed to hand-write and mail a thank-you card after an interview. All the job sites still say that's the way to go. Which kinda-sorta sucks for me cuz my handwritting isn't all that great... I just had an interview this morning and I'm about to write thank-you notes. Now I'm not so sure.. Anyway, best of luck on your job search! ~Dave

Also, I believe in a community college they are going to see their e-mail before they will recieve a note. I wanted to thank them while they still have me on their minds. If they hadnt given me ther business cards with e-mail I would have sent a note. they gave me their business cards with their phone numbers and e-mail. I think if they like you either way will help. I dont think a hadnwritten note will sway them if someone else is more qualified.
