I just love that He left me wanting Him so much this afternoon that I can't stop thinking nasty, naughty, and wonderful thoughts! I love that I got to chat with Linea for a few minutes this evening. She's feeling better weeeeeeeeeee! I love that I got to see my son today. Such the handsome man. I'm such a proud mama [:)]

I love girly's loves! I'm love that Linea is feeling better. I was worried about her yesterday. I love that you're a proud mama. (so am I) [:)] I love that I can talk to a friend about things that are really new for me and my friend doesn't laugh or get shocked or think I'm weird for asking, "What do I do with all this stuff?" and simply offers brilliant advice. I love that tomorrow is my last day at work for the week. (although I dread what my desk will look like Monday) EEK!!! I love that my place is all tidy and ready for the FL/TN girls to visit my family at my place before we party on Saturday night.

I love all the good stuff! I love that in less than 48 hrs, me, Tulip and Tat will be on a plane headed to DC! I love that the funky smell I smelled last night while driving home didnt mean my car was about to catch fire, and that it didnt happen again today while Wanders and I were out and about :) I love that Wanders got to see a little bit of the Gulf (although I slept too late for us to make the trip to Clearwater...I ended up taking her to Redneck Beach) I love that Wanders, Tulip and Tat got to go visit with Gwyn, soft and the family :)

I love it when I'm wrong. When I'm thinking that there are no more amazing voices left in the world, that no one will ever be on par with the power of Ella, Pavarotti, Mahalia Jackson... And then I see this. I don't even know what to say. Mankind hasn't made a word for voices like that yet. My jaw literally dropped and I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes. Les Miserable is one of my favorites of all time, and I'm extremely picky when it comes to who sings what. She can sing this song all she wants, and I want to hear it every time.

A trained professional would not gain employment in Le Mis singing like that. She's alright, average. Comparing Boyle to Pavarotti is absurd. Ella Fitzgerald? Jesus wept.

I KNOW! I can think of maybe one other time when I heard a piece of music, and instantly my jaw dropped, and I couldn't even think, I just sat there with my hands covering my mouth. And that's only maybe. I really do love, so very very much, when I'm wrong like that. Edit: I dunno axe. After hearing that and Cry Me A River. I have music going around me, literally 24/7. It's actually been asked if it's an obsessive compulsive behavior. I've heard many many voices, many talents, and for me to compare someone to Ella, even I consider that to be sacrilege... but wow.

Yes, while it is true that after judging Susan Boyle on her looks and quirkiness, the voice that came from her mouthwas stunning, however if you put her in the context of well trained vocalists her effort was slightly above average at best. I'm not knocking her, i was as touched as anyone when i saw the clip. She is not an outstanding vocalist, only outstanding in that the prejudgement of her was so very wrong. She IS a decent singer, but let's not compare her to the worlds' top vocalists.

To each his/her own I guess. Some people would say Barbara Streisand as one of the world's top vocalists, and I happen to have an almost unnatural hatred of her voice. :) EDIT: Anyway, this is an "I Love It When:" thread. Shush and let me have my happy. ;) HUGS
