I love it when I get some good news.. A homeless charity is setting up a new hostel and night shelter for the homeless who are gay, lesbian, bi and transgendered and they want to name it after me. I'm honoured to learn of such a proposal.

They're add-ons.
AdBlock - blocks those damned adverts that show everywhere.  Customisable so that you can block ads that aren't in the Filterset-G
GooglePreview - Gives you a thumbnail image in Google search results.  Ideal if you knew what you searched for and remember what the page looks like but can't remember which damned one it was.
DownloadHelper - One of those useful little tools that helps you snatch content from sites (YouTube etc)
FlashBlock - Prevents Flash streams from loading automatically, ideal when used to block Flash ads.
FlashGot - Like DownloadHelper but for Flash only.
SoThink SWF catcher - Another Flash grabber.

These are only some of the more useful add-ons I've used.  I used to have dozens installed but some have been discontinued or aren't compatible with the latest versions of FF.

I love that when my TV became oversaturated across the top, presumably either the CRT is misfiring or it's become magnetised, I replaced it with a spare from the dining room.  Although it's smaller and the power button doesn't turn it off (permanent stand-by only) I've hooked the S-Video from the media server in and I have a clearer picture.  The plug is now connected to the home automation system so I can power the TV on/off from anywhere in the house.... or the world if needed.

Now if junior's acting himself I can power off the TV using the phone (and not just with the TV remote software).
It now means when I come home the TV comes on automatically and powers off when I leave or go to bed.  Great stuff.

Don't you just love it when a negative becomes so many positives?

I love it when we *all* get a full nights sleep! *happy dances*

I love it when naps happen durring the day and happy adult time can be had.

I am just a happy girl today.

I am also loving that we are looking at a new place tonight.
