Need information about castration - 3/16/2008 8:30:27 AM

Hello All,
I feel dumb asking this but I honestly have no information or experience regarding this, I need information about castration. What all is affected, what will it be like for him afterwards, and how his sex life may be altered. My submissive MAY need to undergo this due to some trauma that occurred some years back. Now, having said that, I flat out asked him if he would WANT to be castrated and his answer was yes (he said it would make him more submissive [sounds dubious] - I realize and know this can be an actual fantasy for some male submissives). I told him that I am moreso concerned about his health and safety and that if this is NEEDED it then it should be done; however, if it's not medically necessary I would prefer keep "kept em". Right now I am just trying to get some information and prepare a bit if this does in fact happen. I know sexual desire would be reduced but I don't know if sexual performance would still be possible. Has anyone here experienced this before? Thank you.

Speak with a doctor who specializes in male medicine and find out just what condition this person "supposedly" has that would warrant such an extreme measure.

If you he cant provide you with a solid medical condition to speak about with a doctor, then I believe someone in yanking your wanking chain.  *chuckle*

No, I know he's genuine.  It's orchialgia.  It may even be testicular torsion Sadly, I actually have the same problem just not to the extet he does. =(

Why is he asking you if he knows what it is and has been given medical advise?  What does his doctor say about castration as an option for this?
What does your doctor say about castration as an option for this?
And, why would you come to a forum like this for advise on a medical condition that has already been diagnosed and medical options discussed with the doctor.  Why would you even consider the advise given here over your medical professional's?

Again, I think someone is yanking a wanking chain.  Or not very bright.  One of the other.

Castration - that is removing both testicles - results in removal of the organs/glands that produce testosterone - the hormone that enables male desire.Removing one testicle doesn't cause "castration", since one testicle can produce enough testosterone to maintain a normal male sex life. It seems very unlikely that any surgeon would remove both testicles because of an old injury, but I guess anything is possible. Usually, in a young male, silicon implants are put in the scrotum to give a "normal " appearance. Hormone pills replace the lost testosterone.     There should be little change in function and appearance.  Having your testicles removed won't make you more submissive, unless you are of the mind set that it will. Men were castrated to work in harems, but the castration didn't make them more submissive, it just stopped them from having sex with the slaves.

if this is in any way true, the testicle would have been removed some years back, before the gangrene
set in (according to what i read).

"Orchialgia" literally means "testicular pain".  Testicular torsion rarely occurs in both testicles at the same time.  Neither of these sounds like a conclusive diagnosis where complete castration is necessary.

I'm smellin' something a little fishy.

as far as being castrated goes.....

otherlove had undescended testicles when he was born, and had to eventually have them removed.  he's in his late 40's.  he takes injectible hormones every other week, and it does NOT affect his drive whatsoever.

obviously if you arent getting the hormone replacement, it *will* affect the sex drive, but you *can* manage with medical support if you go the hormone replacement route.

i met an interesting man on her a long time ago, he had been receiving shots for chemical castration. a temporary siutation, certainly an option to consider. also hypnosis to simulate the act of castration followed with continuing therapy to inforce the idea that he is castrated, might be a viable solution if his interest in castration is purely for submissive reasons and not medically necessary. Before removing any body parts, i would consult with several urologists, research the condition to see he has to see if there is a remedy and i would recomend BME.com a body mod ezine web site with examples of full castrations or "Nullos". you can read about their experiences too. I hate to say so but, in the end, it is his body and he has a right to do as he wishes, however some mental health counseling might be in order prior to going under the knife, to be sure it is truely what he wants and he is of sound mind and body.

From a biochemistry point of view, removing any hormone-producing gland is a bad idea, but sometimes medically necessary.  He may need testosterone injections on a regular basis to maintain mental and physical health.  We still don't know exactly what testosterone regulates in the body (we have ideas, but so many body chemicals have so many different uses, it's hard to say that we know what testosterone's exact function is).

If there is a way to remove one testitcle or fix the problem without any removal of testicles, that would probably be the safest and best option for long-term health.

Okay...having just chucked my dinner in projectile fashion...I just have two basic questions:

1)  Why the hell would any man want this done?

2)  I actually know a chic who has a huuuuuuuuuge fantasy about this and would probably sell her soul to have a guy do this for her (I've already let her know I'm VERY busy that week)....so if there are any women out there who fantasize about this....How the fuck come?
