LITopMaster -> Sex Masters? (7/16/2004 6:10:08 AM)

Is there such a thing as just a sex Master? I mean..where the "Master" is in control in the bedroom but equal to his "slave/sub" outside the bedroom? I was just wondering, saw something of it on another site.

Yes. It happens all the time. Some people only want control in the bedroom. Nothing wrong with that.

Sexual dominant would probably be more accurate. Common concensus on the definition of terms in this community can be pretty damn hard to come by most of the time, but I think that you'll find that a majority of folks think of M/s (Master/slave) relationships as more all encompassing than something bedroom only. The bedroom only variety is more generally referred to as D/s (Dominant/submissive).

One thing to keep in mind is to have a open mind and that every one has different kinds and levels of kink. There are those who feel there has some changes from what the lifestyle was about in the begining. I have seen one profile were the slave is seeking to be used sexually but nothing more.

What is the definition of Master anyway?

Websters defines it as

Main Entry: [3]master
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): mas·tered; mas·ter·ing /-t(&-)ri[ng]/
Date: 13th century
1 : to become master of : OVERCOME
2 a : to become skilled or proficient in the use of <master a foreign language> b : to gain a thorough understanding of <had mastered every aspect of publishing —Current Biography>
3 : to produce a master phonograph record or magnetic tape of (as a musical rendition)

To my knowledge within the scene most people who are called "Masters" are male. Of course there are the gay women who are also called Masters.

Also to my knowledge, in real life with the men I have had sex with. Also, just a basic understanding of life in general. Most men, if not all do not have orgasm control. When its time to orgasm they do. Sure there are little tricks to stop yourself. Usually those end up leaving the man flaccid.

I guess I have the same question. How does a man become a sex Master?
Anyway, I don't believe they could exist.

Now Dominant in the bedroom is something entirely different. At least in my mind.

Won't go into a lot of detail here, but orgasm and ejaculation in a man don't have to be the same thing. There are techniques that have been around for a long, long time whereby one can be separated from the other. There are eastern forms of ritualistic sex, the purpose of which is to use sexual energy as a vehicle to enlightenment that teach these techniques. Absent an unusual interest in the sexual fulfillment (or domination) of his partner, there isn't a lot of motivation to learn them on the part of most men. Better luck in the future though. ;)

Take care of yourself.

True, a man can be milked. We used to teach people non sexual orgasms.

Although as you stated. Most do not know of these process's. Nor do they care.
