the best pecan pie in the world doesnt get made any longer. my gramma passed away a year ago and hers was primo. she used to take the leftover piecrust and sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar and bake it...i dont know how the hell she made her piecrust so light, but she did. all from scratch, the recipe was in her head. the filling mix was on the back of the karo syrup bottle. kitten, sighing cause they cut down the pecan tree, too.

Since I have no opinion on pie, I'll stick to the original topic. A part of me found it funny, a part of me found it hurtful, and a little part of me is paranoid now because of it.

Lemon meringue pie... without the meringue. That stuff feels like a sugar styrofoam love child. The texture just puts me right off. Pumpkin is also quite tasty.

The best pie is Derby pie...no question It's SA, they seriously don't care about it at all. It's a quick laugh and then they are gone. Most people don't care about that anyone enjoys the lifestyle and may enjoy it themselves. Never take them seriously...it will only egg them on.

I wish I could find a recipe for it. There's a British pub nearish to where I live that offers it for dessert and I swear I cry tears of joy every time I eat it. The second paragraph is a lie.
