Thankfully so, i am even happier now then i've ever been. i was a very unhappy child until in my twenties when i decided to do something about it. It was at this time that i started pursuing a D/s relationship.

i've been lucky to have many beautiful, strong Women in my life since then to help, guide and train me. But now because i have two of the most amazing, beautiful Dominant Women to rule, control and train me i am happier than ever.

I know this is an older thread but thought I would see if there is any interest in it. I'm happy and satisfied (ecstatically, some might say) in that I met a wonderful Man here on CM and am now living with him, with plans to be married. He makes me happy like no one ever has before.

can you be happy and sad at the same time?

i know i posted earlier in this thread (on my previous profile) how happy i am with my Daddy. i've seen him in person for what will most likely be the last time, a week ago. i'm relocating 4 states away, in the process of divorce, and not going to be living where the imps reside any longer. all of those things make me terribly sad...

at the same time, i'm going to TheEngineer, who understands my sorrow at those endings, and who absolutely adores me....and we're going onto the next stage of our 7+ year relationship. this makes me really happy.

so definitely mixed feelings, but hope for the future.

I would have to say that overall I'm a happy submissive. I don't have a Domina at this time in my life, but I don't allow that to stop me from being happy in my life.

I am happier than i have ever been in my life. I spook easy, and so the day-to-day emotions change... but overall, and even when i am scared or sad or worried over something, there is a joy in a connection that is just amazing.

Yes, it can be mixed. There is something called a bittersweet joy and I know it firsthand. I left my home and moved 2300 miles to be with Lumus. I had to arrange for homes for my furbabies which hurt like hell, then battled the ex in a nasty, knock-down drag out custody and child support issue days before I was scheduled to fly out here.

Would I do it again. YES. Love (and Lumus) is worth every bit of it and I wouldn't give that up for anything.

my older imp is 25, and living with a man who makes her happy, the younger one (15) chose to stay with his father. that's definitely bittersweet. he needs his dad more now and TheEngineer hasnt ever BEEN a father.

so there's been no arguments there....in fact we just went and had a sitting for family portraits last night. including ones of the 4 of us.

i dunno. 26 years total marriage (two marriages, 10 and 16 years respectively) and i havent been really content and happy. moments of happiness, yes...but not like this.

if i didnt have to leave Daddy, all would be perfect.
