Yes, I fully agree that a wonderful relationship can start on line. It happens, and I'm very happy for those who are so lucky to make that connection. It's wonderful when everything turns out exactly the way people hope it will.

Still, nobody can argue that cases such as yours are the exception, rather than the rule. I would find it hard to believe that there are more cases where everyone turns out exactly to be what their online personna or relationship is when transferred to the real world. I'm sorry, but the boards are full of evidence to support this.

As I said to the OP, I wish her luck in the matter. I'm sincere about that. I do hope she beats the odds. At the same time, we have to remember that not everybody does.

Most relationships end the majority of all our relationships end be it that they start online or in real life, thats just logic. I have had equal success with online and real life ie not much

Ah ya'll know what! I don't care anymore. I am happy, my Master is happy, and that is all that matters, whether or not you believe in us is your own problem.

Is there a Cliff Notes version of what happened here? Do they see each other in the flesh? Why was there an "online" collar if they see each other in real life? Does that mean she is collared in online contacts only and not in real life contacts? What is an "online" collar anyway? How did she get the collar she has that is real (vs. the online collar)? What did he say when she asked him? Enquiring minds want to know.

I haven't actually read the entire thread - I just responded to your first post where you asked if an online collar (but you had a physical collar to represent the online relationship) was a collar and I said no. I'm a little confused by what you mean by you being there?

Thank you, LadyPact, for your explanation.

And yes, i agree with you, that our story is not the rule.

For me it is important, to respect the people who decide to stay in the online or telephone realm. For me not meeting and being in the flesh together would be not enough and leave me unsatisfied, but i advocate to respect people who live another way.
