I did not read enough of the link above to make a comment, but I do tend to avoid sites written by someone that is trying to promote thier own products especially when it comes to medical issues as they are often geared/slanted toward advice to sell their own products, so I tend to look for very reliable sources for info which are not biased

for example the Mayo Clinic which also has a bit of info alternative treatments
