It's toned down some (I've been using VO5 shampoo which never fails to pull color out - each shampoo has washed a bunch of red down the drain), but it still looks like crap (I didn't do a great job on coverage, even for streaks). When I get home tonight I'll send ya a pic of the morning after I did it (or maybe it was that night? meh who cares..LOL). Pure..good point. although, since I don't anticipate any face to face interviews for a while... nope, I'd best lean towards the side of caution. sigh

BANGS HEAD So... I am the only staff member on duty during my shift. When I have to leave the desk for any reason (like, say, to use the toilet) I have a sign that I place on the counter that says "I have stepped away from the desk. I will return shortly. Thank you for your patience". I use the desk bell to anchor it (i.e I hide the damned bell behind the sign). Tonight I put the sign up, and went to the restroom. About 4 minutes later, as I'm washing my hands, I hear someone POUNDING on the bell "DING DING DING DINGDINGDING DING DING".. holy shit! Where the fuck was the fire?? so I dash out...only to find some fuckwad guest wanting to check in! he says to me... "I was looking all around for the bell, but I finally found it" I want you all to be proud of me... it took a degree of self control I did NOT know I possessed to NOT tell him what an illiterate, oxygen thieving waste of sperm he was since he had to MOVE THE FUCKING BRIGHT PINK SIGN to get the bell!!!! GAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hugs cherry..thanks.. THis is one of the reasons I normally love working at my hotel.. we deal primarily with military and gov't personnel.. they're SOOOOOOOOOOOO easy to deal with! The guys coming back from Iraq/Afghanistan are just grateful to be in a nice climate, have a real bed, hot showers and not being shot at they don't bitch about anything (although we try to make sure there's nothing for them to bitch about). The guys deploying are enjoying the last few days of the above mentioned. The gov't people are usually too distracted by whatever the hell it is theyre doing over at SOCOM that they don't pay much attention. it's the retirees and occasional misplaced tourist that are the worst (my hotel is smack in the middle of the touristy stuff.. we get the tourists that don't bother doing any research on our physical location - and they often end up bitching because we're too far - 20-45 minutes - from the 'fun' stuff) wankers.

3 hours before the end of the day, i get told i'm on call for the next week. no major deal (hopefully) except it's the first time for me, i had no idea what i was supposed to do, and it's a major public holiday this weekend. and NO ONE told me it was my turn. grumble on the other hand, i get paid a wee bit extra for it (it's after hours) and i get a rostered day off with pay as well!

bangs head I have a wedding to attend next month, in Atlanta. Cheapest airfare I can find is 245.00 r/t (and that was 2 days ago, on orbitz). gonna be cheaper to drive, and GOD how I hate that trip!
