I freely admit that my choice of words wasn't ideal.

MadamAyesha -> RE: Body oder a turn on? (5/15/2008 7:25:33 AM)

My other half recently caught his dad sniffing his mum's arm pit in their kitchen and they've been happily married 45 years so there must be something important there in the olfactory department.  I've also heard that male pheromones help to regulate the female menstrual cycle as well as boost a woman's mood... Furthermore the idea of the "poison apple" (a la Snow White) came from around Shakepeare's time when a woman wanting to find a mate would peel an apple, carry it around under her armpit all day and then give it to the man she desired and if he liked it... Need I continue?
There you go, ladies - take a big whiff!!

I enjoy the smell of my lover(s), and generally prefer a fresh smell, but sometimes even enjoy it not so fresh.  But with someone that I am not attracted to, it's more of a turn off.  Also, it helps if the person is generally clean and occasionally has a stink or if they just reek all the time.

Not for me, although, it is sometimes preferable to the foo-foo men's cologne some of them wear.  I never could understand why a man needs perfume.  I love a fresh clean smell on a man.

I understand. I liked the way my Dom smelled even when he just got out of the shower. You always know the smell of a man!

YES! To me scent is the sexiest. I love someones body odor. Female or Male. I love serving someone and them knowing that I am basking in their scent, their odor. I find it to be so intoxicating. The scent of a foot after a long day, encased in hose, an old leather pump. The scent between someones legs first thing in the morning. Apparently this is something that numerous others have felt strongly about as well.....including Napoleon and Josephine.

Good morning!
I agree with Maya, pheromones-oh my gosh!! Daddy gets off of work, showers, eats, and when I see him later in the evening, he just smells so good!!! Lots of times, I just smell his neck or his chest but sometimes I -and he--have caught myself gnawing on his bicep or licking his chest or back of his leg. It's something about his taste, his smell-naturally. He usually gets uncomfortable and pulls me up by my hair, but not before he lets me get that lick or gnaw first. I tried explaining it to him, cause he doesn't like it but could never find the words. Thanks, I think your post will help him understand. But yeah, what can you tell them but "you smell/.taste so GOOD!!!"?? And they look at you weird? lol Good luck darling!
Love,

Yes. Body odor can be a turn on. Some peoples odor wont smell right to you. I saw a program on the Science of Sex  that indicated that people who have gentetics too close to yours will be a turn off. Also, that the smell of men change for women during ovulation.

I dated someone once who during certain activities sweated so much things got mighty slippery. But his smell was heavenly to me.

greetings to all,

Forgive me for (possibly) derailing the thread, but after reading through the entire thing, something came to me, and I just need to ask.

After being with my Master for a few years, I found that I took on "his" smell, and ceased to have my own, individual smell.  Has that happened to anyone else?

well wishes,

LaTigresse -> RE: Body oder a turn on? (7/19/2009 5:38:59 AM)

I think there are several factors at play in this case. Shared laundry and bath products. Similar diets due to shared meals. Shared environment would definitely make scents more similar also.

Our scents are a surreal chemical match........until the dog farts
