Just a quickie to say - as if you didn't know it already - how great Darcy and Dark are. Met them with GT for a short chat in London and two more delightful people one couldn't wish to meet (apart maybe from Darcy's animated conversation with GT on horror movies and rock bands - but Dark makes up for it by just being wonderful).

An all-too-short evening, but enough to show how great this place can be in helping one meet new friends.

Thanks guys for taking the time to come and see us - good to know you.

Hello SD - It was fantastic to get the chance to meet you and enjoy your hospitality!  Sundowner was the perfect host and absolutely charming and we had fun with that microwave! - we will definately meet up again!

It was fabulous to meet Greedy Top - she totally rocks and Darcy really enjoyed discussing music and film with someone who had groovy knowledge on the subjects he so lives for!  She is absolutely stunning, fun and beautiful and all the words I can't possibly use would be enough to describe her and give her the credit she deserves.

Cannot wait for her to come move here and to see SD again sometime in the hopefully not too distant future!

God Greedy, I'm so jealous. It would be so great to meet up with with our friends from across the pond! I have made friends with so many wonderful Brits. It is a fantasy to go from penpals to RT.

You are one lucky dog, girl!

Edited to say: Isnt it great that no mater where you move or where you visit there are friends waiting to greet you?

When I die, i'm sure there will be more CM friends meeting up with me in hell, hee hee

*HUGE Grin*

Thankyou so much GT and Sundowner

GT is such a gem (hehehe that fits so well Miss Sparklies) also she is totally scarey when she gives you 'the look'

Sundowner is a real gentleman, even if he wont make coffee.

I had the best time, really i needed that so thanks again   "Have a nice day"

<grins>  And now we can add coloured to the list of met people .

A delightful young lady - feisty and hot at the same time! Kind enough to make the effort of a long trek to get to London, courteous enough to slog around with GT (who is soooooo into architecture, whereas it's not coloured's lead interest ) and intelligent enough to push animated conversation through into the small hours.

Thanks coloured for making the time to see us, and thanks for what you brought to the visit .

Edited for:-  PS - in fairness you did get something from St Paul's - love the new signature line

And for simplicity and completeness GT can be here instead of a separate thingy.

Well - where to start! She is - quite clearly - an American; but (should one say "but"?) one of the firmly good variety - open, friendly, huge fun, an accent which pleases not irritates, courteous and considerate to a fault with strangers, permanently smiling and - how pleasing - gifted with the asset of sensible height instead of afflicted by the rogue problem of inherent tallness!

Kind enough to make my Russian blonde feel warmly welcomed, hot enough to generate hugs which are not mere formalities.

Wicked enough to need shouting at momentarily, wonderful enough to be missed deeply when she's gone.

Thanks GT for a visit to remember

(Edited to add:- a couple of GT pics temporarily in my profile)

This is Darcy

I'd just like to echo the.dark's sentiments and say what an absolute pleasure it was to meet both GreedyTop and Sundowner recently. GT was everything you'd imagine and more - good conversation, wicked sense of humour and a joy to spend time with, and the same goes for SD, who kindly invited us into his home and provided a wonderful evening of company and conversation that we'd have gladly travelled three times the distance to enjoy (and hopefully will again before too long).

Likewise RavenMuse who we met quite by chance last year, and who we really must synchronise schedules with to do so again soon.

We also look foward to meeting both RM and SD's young ladies, too, as well as hopefully others like colouredin.

It's always a pleasure to put faces and bodies to names on here, and especially when they all turn out to be such wonderful people.

What a lovely story! I am so happy for all of you!

Isn't wonderful to meet someone and be really happy that you did. I love when I feel sad to leave and am already looking forward to the next visit.

I feel exactly the same way about you and all of the people mentioned in this thread. dark and I have exchanged quite a few emails and I would so very much love to spend some time with her and Darcy. I would also love to meet Anerin (I hope I got all the e's and i's in the right places). There are probably others that I just forget are from the UK.
