The trip started out ok, Tampa to Atlanta. Almost 4 hour layover in ATL... wellllll, that's what was SCHEDULED, anyway! It was the inauguaral flight from ATL to HEathrow for Delta. Everyone is on board, cabin doors are closed........ suddenly an announcement: "There has been a threat against the plane. Please gather all your personal belongings and disembark". WOohoo. All I could do was laugh, yanno? UNtil I realized that I had put my iPod shuffle in the little amenity bag Delta gave the passengers..which I hadn't grabbed when I got off the plane :( So my iPod ended up in the dumpster somewhere (that reminds me, I gotta file a claim with Delta). Ok, so finally we're on our way, almost 2 hrs late. Long flight. Get to Heathrow, and am totally paranoid about missing Sundowner... but no worries :) we found each other :) We went by his Club (lovely place!!! omg, the architectural details!!). Then we went to the flat to relax a bit, before Darcy and thedark came by... (they've posted, so I won't repeat other than to say that they TOTALLY ROCK!!). yeah, teaser, I know.. but I'm evil like that (BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!)..will post more about it tonight at work [:D]

Ok, ok already Ms GreedyTop!!!!! i picked my lil one up from school, fed the ducks, flew her kite with and for her, played in the park, stopped and bought another gumball ring that was slung into the pond with the bread, ate a salad for dinner, only to return and see You have yet to write anymore regarding You fantastic adventures!!!! Spill da' beans already ...... some of us don't have a life, thus needing to live through the rest of the folks on the boards!!!!! b.~

snicker Ok, I'm at work now... I may have got the chronological order off on some things, so bear with me: Westminster Abbey, Horse Guards, Trafalgar Square. Lovely Russian girl comes to visit, London Tower and Tower Bridge. Les Miserables. More touristy stuff, St Paul's, Colouredin comes to visit, wander down Bond St (?) with a visit in at Tiffany's and Gucci. LOTS of window shopping :) Spam-A-Lot (KILLER BUNNY!! "wot's 'e do? nibble yer bum?") Fly to Yorkshire via heli, LOVELY hotel!! Could easily spend much time there :) Long drive through the countryside, fairly early night. Train to Black Country... took an earlier connection than planned. The train we'd planned had a stop at Sandwell... the one I TOOK didn't...thankfully, the lady at the station in Dudley was very kind and called the Sandwell station. The folks there found Riff waiting for me, and let himknow where I was. LOL Went out on his Triumph (after getting a kitty-fix at the flat), saw the Iron Bridge (lovely..too bad my camera died before I could get pics). Met Lady Ellen (absolutely charming, and beautiful!!) for drinks at the Crooked House. Went out the next day for a walking tour of Dudley (the museum there is quite interesting!!), pub later (watched the Grand National.). Then... home :( For the record... if you ever find that you have to overnight at JFK airport, terminal 4 is the place to do it :) LOL

For the Love of Mercy ......... siiiiiiiiiiighs ...... the countryside, long drives, museums and walking tours sounds sooooooo hawt!!!! What an experience ..... not to mention You all got along famously! The orgasmic point for me would have been if You had written that You all had been into any of London's libraries!!!! Is my understanding (from books of course) that they are some of the most architecturally magnanimous libraries in the whole world!! Sounds like it all flew by in micro-seconds!!!!! Despite Your camera failing, i am sure You will have fond memories for years to come! Alas, i shall never have the chance to jump the pond, as i have yet to acquire a passport!! Never the matter ....... is stellar to hear of others having such a succulent time!!! You all ROCK!! [:D] b.~

Well, Sundowners Club has room after room of floor to ceiling bookshelves..droooool Oh yeah.. forgot to mention shopping for wine and gloves at Fortner and Mason :D

geesh GT...i'm envious! it sounds like you had a wonderful time and met some very nice people. i'm glad things went so well on your trip, it sounds like it was marvelous!
