I am a martial artist and lover of Japanese fetishes; one of which is to use metal hooks (not the sharp kind) in various body openings including the nose along with the rope bondage.

Tonight I picked up some wonderful hooks suitable for vagina, bum, and nose but they are not stainless...seems to be zink coating from the smell.

Apart from condoms/finger cots what can I use to make it safe? Plastic Dip? Liquid Electrical Tape.

Also, is zinc plating toxic to vagina/ass/nose?

Plastic dip outgasses for quite a while. It might be safe after a long curing time, but I've been using liquid latex. It's more delicate and needs regular renewal but seems to be body friends .. absent allergies

Stef may correct me, but zinc isnt too bad if you don't heat it (I am talking beyond body temp like hot oh fuck hot, then it is kinda deadly removes calcium balance, John can speak to that. However you have probably drank many times from galvanized containers if you ever attain as great an age as I. While I would not put mustard on zinc and eat it wholesale, as a trace mineral it is necessary, and I doubt what will pass at an atomic level to you will poison you. There is nothing so acid or alkalia in your pervious openings that would etch enough to bother.

From the CDC:

quote:

Harmful effects generally begin at levels 10-15 times higher than the amount needed for good health. Large doses taken by mouth even for a short time can cause stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting. Taken longer, it can cause anemia and decrease the levels of your good cholesterol. We do not know if high levels of zinc affect reproduction in humans. Rats that were fed large amounts of zinc became infertile.

Inhaling large amounts of zinc (as dusts or fumes) can cause a specific short-term disease called metal fume fever. We do not know the long-term effects of breathing high levels of zinc.

Putting low levels of certain zinc compounds on the skin of rabbits, guinea pigs, and mice caused skin irritation. Skin irritation will probably occur in people.
