lol, make friends with your local black-smith. hooks are done as practise, many are amazing in detail.

Those iron pot racks can make for a very interesting toy rack.
a coatrack wall mounted or floor model, a row of coat hooks, a row of cabinet knobs, I have seen modified coat racks (floor models) that have been cut from 5 ft to 3 ft high and used to hang toys from.
The limits are really just a matter of your inagination of what you can hang a flogger from.
Large vases  work for canes and such kinda like an umbrella stand.

Hi.  I'd go to the local "home store".  Stroll thru the cabinet area, and usually they offer various hooks, accessories.  I found some nice, inexpensive over the door hooks, meant for robes, but, will have other purposes :)

check for clearance items at the home depot, lots of times they will have bathroom sets with towel bars, robe hooks, etc on clearance for a few bucks each.

Also check the hardware and the cabinet isles. drawer pulls can make good hangers for items with wrist straps.

I have a friend that uses floor standing tie racks, he just put a bunch of screw hooks into the bottom of each part of the rack, it looks pretty nice.

If you are lucky as we are Mexico has many folks that will make your items cheap. Otherwise do not forget the tack and feed store amazing all the nifty stuff in there. HomeD and Lowes are ok but ACE is the place for odd stuff.

Hey, don't forget hobby stores! i've seen pre-cut wooden shapes in various sizes and patterns at Hobby Lobby. They're easy to paint if wanted, and make for a customized look that fits your style. me personally, we have to cut our own cause no one seems to offer cat paws! Yet another downfall of being a kytten. *chuckle*

Plant hangers are frequently decorative and black, try your local nursery.
