I am seven months pregnant with my first child. I have talked to my doctor and follow the guidlines she gives me but i wanted to know what others have done play wise while they were pregnant.

congrats on you being pregnant [:)] pregnant women are very sexy and usually very horny ..at least my ex was [:)] you and the child has to be the main concerns as far as im concerned ..if it means not doing something until that baby is born then so be it [:)] i would think your dom/so would understand this and cut you some slack ..good luck with the baby ..enjoy those years ..boy they go by quick [:)] mal ..life is too precious to do something that would put you or the baby at high risk in anyway ..shape ..or form

thank you. We do play and he does take it easy on me (which i don't always love) but i was still wondering what others may have done. get some new ideas and what not

I don't know enough about physiology to speak authoritatively about this, but my concern about playing while pregnant would be similar to a concern about using drugs (prescription or otherwise) while pregnant -- that maybe the altered body chemistry from the adrenaline surges, endorphin highs, dopamine rushes, etc. could affect the fetus. I myself would have a hard time abstaining from play in such a circumstance, so I am not really suggesting that, just offering some food for thought. Everyone has to make their own decisions about such things in a pregnancy, just like with things like caffeine, alcohol or cigarettes.

it was a concern at first. I had a very long talk with my doctor...according to her it would be no different on the baby then regular sex. She has advised me to keep my belly comfy and to keep things like floggers off my lower back. According to her as long as i don't bleed or feel any abnormal pain in my lower back that W/we should be safe.

We were both too paraniod to scene. There was light bondage, the collar, and a blind fold but we pretty much ended up vanilla for a little bit but things are back the way they should be now.

Last time I was pregnant..it was with our two year old boy/girl twins..the type of playing we did? He would hold whatever limb i needed in whatever position I needed...that..and lots of watersports..and "forced" pineapple feeding.. Good luck with the pregnancy!

I am 29 weeks pregnant with my first one. At first Papa was very gentle, but we talked to the Midwife and she told us that as long as I wasn't uncomfortable, the baby is fine. The endorphines are good for the baby, they are like a natural feel good drug. We don't do much punishment play at the moment though. If I am naughty now I am made to sit in the corner, or I am not allowed to touch Him, or he won't sleep with me, or no dessert (by far, the cruelest punishment of all). My Papa is a big ole softy though. But after the heir is born, He has told me he has plans for me, so I am really excited for that.

Hey, be glad you CAN play! Try having to abstain from all sexual activities or rough playing because they send you into pre-mature labor. Ugh, it was a nightmare. Anything that sexually stimulated me (physical or not) was enough to start contractions. So anyway, my advice is you should be asking this question to your doctor. If you don't want to, talk to her about exercise and see where those limits are. Apply them to your playing. Oh, and be careful with impacts like spanking or flogging. Even if they're not on your stomach, they're still jolting your body, which in turns jolts your abdomen. Ever heard about pregnant women having problems because they fell? Same principle. Better to be safe than sorry, in my opinion. Take it easy and be patient. It's worth it in the end.

I played while I was pregnant both pregnancies. As long as your okay and your not doing anything that jeopardizes you or the baby then go for it. With my son I was able to do everything until the 8th month. I did bondage, light discipline and light other stuff. For me I was never rough with insertable toys.. just not a good idea for me cause it hurt way too much. And stay away from the flogging around the belly :) I will agree that play may send you into contractions but that depends on your body and the risks that you run for preterm labor. If you have a kink friendly OB which it sounds like you do then get their advice. congrats on the pregnancy and remember to not push your body too hard even though you want to play sometimes its better to just rest.

hehe...forced was in quotes because i had the craziest craving for pineapple the whole pregnancy..poor Daddio was running out in the middle of the nite..not for ice cream..but for pineapple!

lol....i haven't been that bad with my Daddy. I don't think he really enjoys the midnight runs to waffle hell but he doesn't bitch too much because it comes after play. I think the thing i have wanted the most (and I am sure he will agree) is...well...HIM. But pineapple does sound good....thanks..now i want some.

i really don't know....i don't see how it would be much different then being with a man who was very big. I would guess that as long as you two took it slow it wouldn't hurt. Talk to your doctor about it...trust me i know it can be embarrasing but it is better then hurting yourself or your child
