I took SMS to her first fetish event. There is not a ton of lifestyle or fetish events in the Charlotte, NC area - the Purgatory fetish event every other month is about the best we can do.

We had the best time, and a big part of it was that it was her first time - "Purg Virgin" [;)] She was incredibly nervous beforehand, ton of questions, mostly along the lines of "Will I be the only person there dressed like a slut/slave/whore?" We were of course not the only people there dressed in some fetish or D/s thematic way, and while there were some notable people and get ups, several people told us we got "the Cutest Couple" award. I wore a custom made black suit (Daddy) , and she wore a "Sexy Student" outfit we bought at 3wishes.com (Little Girl). Picture of SMS is posted below.

We met a really pretty young girl on the way in at the beginning of the evening, and SMS kept talking about her all night long, how cute she was, etc. Before we left for the we took a tour through the club and vendor area looking for "J-." We found her, talked a bit, and I finally told SMS to kiss J goodnight. They eneded up catching on fire, and I gave SMS 10 minutes in the bathroom to kiss and play a bit. Pretty hot first time for a Purg Virgin.

Anyone care to relate their first LS event? Anything memorable at your first show, munch, club visit, etc?

I went on my own to my first munch scared out of my wits wondering just what the hell i was doing.....

I'm there for something like 30 mins when someone comes up to me, puts their hand on my shoulder goes 'hi...' and i turn round to see the guy i sit 10 feet from in the office.

I think i went several shades of red then.

Other than that it was a good event.

The staff for Purgatory haven't linked the nights pics yet (late night for the staff - nice for once to be a customer and just enjoy) so I don't have pics of the event yet. Here's another pic I think came out great:

OMG...that is too funny. I had the same thing happen to me only it was not someone I worked with...it was my ex brother in law who I hadn't seen in over 10 years.

Is Together in Leather done yet? You should definitely check that out as a great local convention in your area.

Funnily enough my very first event was back in March 99. It was a play party hosted by CAPEX and they had brought in a pony play demonstrator. It was totally awesome seeing so many other people there, the demo was absolutely cool (and my first experience with vet wrap which I fell in love with immediately).

Things I remember: really hot male bottom who, if I saw him today I would rip his clothes off and into an amazingly hot CBT scene with, but at the time I simply blushed and peeked at him when I could. Meeting a brand new person who was really overwhelmed by the idea of M/s relationships and having a long conversation about why it worked for me. the cutest little girl who was the hosts' sub getting "punishment" floggings and having to count who had a demerit system and had received demerits for bragging that she didn't have any demerits.

The first time I attended the local play club it was a memorable experience and quite a negative one at that. I was sitting in the non-play space of the club talking with a girl I had met there and I felt something brush my foot. It felt like someone had walked past me and bumped into it. I looked around and didn't see anyone walking by. So I tucked my feet farther under my seat and continued talking. Then I felt it again. This time I looked around a little more and noticed a guy playing with a single-tail outside of the play space and he had hit me twice with the whip. I was furious that someone would use a toy on me without my permission and without even talking to me. The worst part is that I was told that he is a person who can be trusted. I was not the only girl that he hit with the whip without talking with them first and his actions went uncorrected by anyone there.

Another "trusted and respected" member of the community that night continually tried to manipulate me into playing, despite my repeated no, thank you and letting him know that my first play would be with my Lord (who I was not in a formal relationship with at the time).

Memorable, but not in a good way.

One of my first times to the club that was here, I was overwhelmed. I was talking to people here and there, being introduded and all.. I see a woman that looks familiar but I can't place her. I asked a person next to me if they knew her. She said yes, that is Kat and her sub kent. I let the name Kat roll around my brain for a few minutes..Then it hit me..I went OMG...I didn't know to be emabarrassed or happy.. I went up to her and said her name (legal name). She looked at me, then her eyes grew very big. She went, Oh Goddess, my aunt! I hadn't seen her in about 8 years. She was married to someone new, kent. They have now divorced, but I am still very close to kent and I keep in touch with Kat..You never know who will be at the next party or munch!
