Hi azropedntied, To answer your question, no I don't think being gay was a choice, I believe I was born gay, there is no choice about it, as if it were put in my DNA so to speak, as you stated above. I honestly didn't think about the BDSM lifestyle as being something you were born with or in your DNA. I beleive sexuality is born into you and like a tree, grows diferently depending on surroundings.

No, I am not a Dom, however I have been in the situation you are asking of...

I have been with "Straight" Doms and STRAIGHT Doms

I'd guess a number of possibilities, as already mentioned. And I think there's gay interest and sexual interest, which can be quite different - for example I could play (bdsm play) with a bloke but I couldn't kiss or cuddle a bloke, so I don't think I'm gay, nor bi; I just enjoy bdsm, which does not always need the emotional content (play that is as opposed to a committed d/s relationship).

I don't know what it's like in the US but in the UK if a bloke's been to an English public school there's a very good chance he's experimented with other boys in his youth! So same sex (male) can be less "scary" for a straight man.
