I’m not always up to speed on the latest online trends but, posting foot worship photos was always something done by Tops/Dommes etc. 
 
Why do I see so many submissives with foot worship photos in their profiles lately?  What did I miss that brought this into vogue?

I can't say I know what you'r referring to, but I have a couple of pics of my feet on my various profiles just cause I think nice feet are sexy in general and I've been told mine qualify.  My first dom loved my feet and told me he often looked at them as he was cumming.  Trust me, this was not a submissive thing, he was very dominant with me, just liked sexy feet on a woman.  My favorite foot pic I have up is of some great foot/toe rope bondage.  Doesn't that count as submissive?

Thanks for explaining.  Those cheesecake toenail polish, high heels & boot poses were used by the pro Dominatrix in newspaper and magazine ads long before it carried over to the online world.  I just recently noticed a lot of submissives here at collarme were imitating the foot fetish/worship photos and wondered why.

I think that you can be a foot fetishist and still be a top...also, if you are a submissive, having your feet worshipped is a non-sadistic form of topping that  I think many can be comfortable with.

Sir loves my feet, I never really knew how sensitive mine were untill him. I dont see him when he rubs my feet or kisses them as he sometimes does as him being submissive. I think its very very sweet thing he does for me, especially the foot rubs. He knows 90% of the time I am usually on my feet, danceing, I run around town alot, Im always up doing other things with people and what not, running between groups, takeing care of things for Him and my family. So I have come to learn that it is my old fashioned concepts of role imagery that makes submissives posting foot worship pics seem out of place to me. 
If I were scrolling a line up of pics without descriptions, I would presume the photos of people kneeling or looking up into a camera would be submissive and the pics of someone’s boots or feet would be dominants. 
 
…I’m never too old to learn something new but this concept is gonna' take a while to sink in.  [:)]

I have a few pairs of fuck-me-boots, and I just got a new pair (photos soon), but they are as much for Him as for me. I just like clicking on the pavement...I never really thought of it as "I Can't Believe It's Not Domme!"
Also, I agree with Sunny. Footrubs are wonderful sub-care, especially for dancers, although I don't know if she means it the way that I do...I used to be a...oh, what IS the polite term nowadays...'exotic' dancer? And after being on your tiny toes 'till two AM, trust me, a footrub is needed before any other pleasure or pain could even register.
