Goes up to the bartender and says "gimme your best bourban"
The bartender says "get outta here; we don't serve strings here."
The string slinks away.
The next day the string comes in and says "gimme a margarita, extra salt"
The bartender says "get outta here; we don't serve strings here."
The string slinks away.
The next day the string comes in and says "I'd like a beer"
The bartender says "look buddy, how many times do I gotta tell ya? We do NOT serve strings here! The string becomes very angry and starts twisting itself into all kinds of crazy combinations, in and out, in an out.
The bartender stares at him like he is crazy. "hey buddy, move along, we DON'T serve strings here! Get out, and don't come back!"
The string straightens up as much as he can, and says "*I'm* a frayed knot!!"
