This thread is intended to provide relief from the seeming overwhelming number of "what is a switch" variety questions.

So instead I would like folk to briefly comment on some of the most amazing or interesting situations they have found themselves in, with or as a switch

Or alternately, what made you become a switch?

Ok. So I am at a spanking party in Tampa with my good friend MR. The group that is giving the event is a spanking club out of Chicago where MR is from. MR and I are both bottoms, but we do switch with each others and a few people at these kind of parties. I hadn't seen MR in a year ( I am on the East Coast) and had a good story to tell her about an experience with 2 Dommes, a Dom and a male and a female slave. I told her I would tell her when we got together. I kind of forgot about the story and we enjoyed the weekend. The afternoon before the last night of the party MR and I went out to lunch with 3 of her friends, all f bottoms. We had a couple of drinks in an outdoor resteraunt. After lunch it was decided to head back to the hotel, we had booze in the room and would continue the party there. And than she announced that I would tell them all a story.Thee story.
When we got back to our room MR had one more surprise for me. She had laid out a special outfit for me to wear. She said it was on the dresser and I was to wear only that. What I found there was a maids outfit with a very short skirt. It was complete with a apron and a little hat.

I must have been taken too long before coming out because the ladies were growing impatient and threatend to come in a get me. For the most part they were speechless. No one was shocked and everyone had been there in someway ot other so there was some understanding. Having said that they certainly wanted to have a little fun. They made me turn around slowly ( I was tottaly exposed.) and one lady suggested that I bend over and take a few spanks from each. This was turned out to be more than a few. When I was allowed up, I found that one of the girls had taken out her makeup kit and added some lipstick and blush. The joke was what's balck and white and red all over. Yeah they thought it was funny. Eventually I was sent off to get drinks for them and serve them to them. They sat on the sofa and the chair and I put a bar stool in front of them so they could have a nice view of me while I told them the story.

I knew what I was by the end of my first play party. It was like Disneyland, I wanted to ride all the rides. I wanted to be on both ends of the flogger.

I sometimes wonder why I'm a switch. I think it's a combination of two things. One is that, since I run the show in day-to-day life, I sometimes crave a lack of control. The other is that I just hate to limit myself. I like to try everything. My curiousity is insatiable.

ok when i first started to get into this i was with a sub girl she wasn't that exp at it but she had more then me.She told me to go rough and if i was too rough she would say a safe word,i thought this is easy enough so i did what i guess could be called Dom foreplay (such as spanking,choking,hair pulling and the like)

Since then i have been focusing on my submissive side and have little interest in my dom side for the time being and don't think i will for some time

I got one for the books. It was with an old girlfriend of mine. She is primarily submissive and I was not opposed to trying it for a change and she wanted to try her hand at being dominant. You would have had to see it.
