I am interested in being trained in Fire Play and live in the Denver, CO area. Does anyone know someone that specializes in this locally?

Check out the coloradofiretribe.com. While they deal alot with fire dancing (im learning poi spinning from a few there), there may be someone who deals with skin contact fire stuff.

Hello There,
I unfortunatley don't know any people in CO, but I do have some tips for you as I LOVE fire play and have done it often.
To be sure you're playing safe we always have a very wet towel right next to your body so if it gets out of control they can just cover you and put it out, have a bucket of ice water so you can be dabbed with cold water to keep your skin from heating up too much between lighting you up, use 70% alcohol as the 90% alcohol is much hotter, and only do fire play on non flammable surfaces. We only do this in our local public dungeon or in the bath tub at home.
Hope these pointer help you play safe once you find someone who's done it before.
Sincerely,
sub suzanne
