So, from what I got from the ops post, is you were demonstrating something, chose another boy over someone you wanted a commited relationship with then got huffy when he told you he didnt like the idea of you playing with someone else?

I think the boy just wanted you to know he didnt like you putting your paws on another man when he was right there for you to paw him.

If the situation were reversed and your sub went to another Domme to "demonstrate" something you were perfectly cabable of demonstrating with him, would you feel the twinge of jealous, self doubt and other other cases of, Why didnt He choose me to do it?

I appreciate all of the responses ... <well, perhaps not all of them>.
I did discuss the matter with the fellow and it was realized that
a) he has never been in this type of situation (being alone with a Domme)
b) neither have I (running a Lifestyle Group)

It's all a matter of preference, key is to make expectations very clear, on both sides. Chalk it up to lack of communication on both your parts. Communication doesn't mean you have to negotiate, it just means you make yourself very clear so you don't waste your own time, or hash up someone's heart in the process.

Unfortunately, you found one of the naturally jealous ones. We seem to see a lot of that behavior around. Some years back, I was lucky enough to be the live-in to a professional dominant. She would take me to parties, and she'd play with EVERYONE. I was jealous in the beginning, but then it dawned on me that I was the one still going back with her at the end, and I knew everyone playing with her would have killed for that.

After a short while, I was just overjoyed to be with her at the party. It takes a bit of getting used to and then a whole new world opens up.
