Audio Greeting

Twice now I have logged in and found the audio greeting button lit as if I had a message, but when I click on it, the screen gives instructions for recording. Is this a feature advertising itself, or is there some way to receive audio greetings? If so, the option to listen to them isn't showing. Ariane
