Who out there is dressing up for Halloween, and if so as what? And, are there any good ideas for costumes that are s/m associated, but subtly so? I was thinking geisha for myself

I'm wearing t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.

On the t-shirt will say "Vanilla Monogamous Heterosexual"

Since I live in the Boston area, I usually head to Salem with a group of folks. It's usually a themed costume, but very vanilla. But it's still alot of fun.

This year, it was my choice and I'm going as Speed Racer. And everyone else gets to fight over the other 7 charcaters.

If you're kind of curious what Salem is like, drop me a line. I'll upload my old photo pages that I took and I'll send you the link.

While most people where i work know about how i lead my life...my boss always comes into the office before halloween and says: NO! you can not wear bubble wrap *LAUGHS* (his fault, he started it)
Sooooooo this year, i came up and told him about the many different colos of saran wrap. He just shook his head and laughed...and of course said: No!
I happen to be very fortunate that i work in a place that the people are like family, they enjoy teasing me a bit about how Thorns and i live...but for the most part are more curious. I then decided that since i am in the customer service field and have been called a smart ass on more than a few occassions, i decided that i would throw on a t-shirt....find a pair of old jeans, grab a bag of those smatie candies ... grab a stapler and staple a few of the candies to my jeans.

Ta-Da! i am now: Smartie Pants

*grinz*

Happy Sunday y'all!!

Why settle for subtlety? Halloween is the perfect time for going all out; it's costume time!

I have an orange t-shirt with "This IS my costume" printed on it, which I will most likely wear (with jeans) to give out goodies to the kids. Just once in my lifetime, I need to get together a Magenta maid outfit and go see Rocky Horror on Halloween....

I'm not doing anything this year, but next year when I'm in real life with my Sir I think it would be fun to do something really outrageous. We are going to try to bring out my exhibitionist side.

New costume not in the budget this year, so I'm going to a vanilla sponsored affair as a dominatrix. I can shop my closet. So unoriginal, but oh so much fun.

Oh yes! I'm having a huge halloween party for my friends and family. (Apparently Moms drink too. lol) I'm going as BDSM Bettie Page. The theme is "come as your favorite pop culture icon", so I thought it was appropriate. Yay Halloween!

Although not exactly of a BDSM flair.......

This costume was the biggest hit I ever had in creating a costume:
-- two cardboard circles cut out with pinking-shears (one for your front, one for your back) and a flesh colored body suit (or not <g>)......write on the cardboard "Everything tastes better on a RITZ!"

Probably one of the funniest I ever saw:
-- cardboard box covered with a cloth and with holes for your head and arms...glue used condom wrappers to the top of the box along with a cheap plastic bendy lamp, an ashtray, empty box of smokes, burned down candle, and a pair of panties........when asked what he was, he replied, "I'm a One NightSTAND!"

Happy Halloween!
~Christine

My last year in high school I cut apart the Christmas tree box and painted it like a bottle of Jack Daniels (took me a week to get it painted).. Had a lid too.. Wore amber pants and top.. :) Took me ages to go up stairs in it...

The best I costume I heard of was a kid painted a box like a box of cereal.. Put a cardboard knife through it and called himself a cereal killer..

*lol*

This year, I think I might go as a faery... If I can get it done in time. Last year I went as the Swedish Chef, was up to one am sewing my chickens.. *lol* I even changed my ID tag for work.. Good times.. :)

You could always get a long cardboard box, paint it to look like wood (it's easier than you think), attach some metal hoops, then attach chains to those and walk around carrying a whip. Voila, you're a whipping post!
