MasterJoe50 -> Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/7/2008 9:14:42 AM)

Anyone that has spent any time on these pages, has no doubt seen the advertising banners at the bottom of the pages, showing bondage and torture devices. One device shown, that can no longer even be seen, except in museums, and books, is a device called 'The Pear'. An old torture device that was real and actually used back in the midevil times.

I'm looking for someone with access to, and the knowledge to duplicate and manufacture this device, of course without the 'spikes' on the end, that when originally used did cause serious physical damage to it's 'victim', that lead to eventual death.

Looking at this device, (without the spikes), I can see it as a great useful dilator for lifestyle activities! I don't know why anyone, or company hasn't thought of reproducing this device for lifestyle activities, but I would tend to bet, that if these became available, sales would really be good! It's really not much more than a very elaborate, adjustable speculum, or dilator...

There are enough detailed pictures, references to, and possibly patent drawings on the internet for someone with some machines shop skills to reproduce this device.

I'm looking for such a person, and to have one of these devices reproduced, again, 'without' the spikes!

Anyone that believes that can duplicate this device can reach me through CM. If you can capable of mass producing these, I can put you in touch with a worldwide distributor of lifestyle 'toys', that purchases a product line from me that I manufacture. It's a great company that I've had a relationship for 10 years now, and I'm sure they would be interested in purchasing these to add to their product line!

That website has the worst spelling I've seen for an online store front in a looooooonnnnggg time.

The Heretic's Pear. Downright nasty. Used for homosexuals, heretics and female adulterers, in various "crime appropriate" applications.

s661055 -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/11/2008 7:49:49 AM)

i think the spelling is just a biproduct from a bad translation from the german site..

MasterJoe50 -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/12/2008 8:34:58 AM)

Took a look at the web site you listed. Am surprised a bit.. Leave it to the Germans! I think they are a bit more 'hard core' BDSM than we are in this country. Kind-of known that from seeing some BDSM hard core films years ago made in Germany.

They appear to be of similar design, and I certainly wouldn't mind having on in my hand to look closer at the two they had listed. One of the images wouldn't enlarge, but from looking at the other close up, it would appear that you would need two adjustable wrenches to operate these... There wasn't too much information about the size of these, other than the opening width.

Again, actually having one in hand would really tell if these would operate as well as the original 'Pear'. Especially if going to be used vaginally or anally, where there would be more pressure on the blades.

With our American dollar not being worth much these days, I would hate to even look up the exchange rate to see the actual cost of these in U.S. dollars, not to mention overseas shipping, and for something that 'might not' work properly for other intended uses.

Still interesting though and appreciate the link. Since we seem to be several years behind the overseas market, I'm sure that it would be that long for one of our bigger 'toy' distributors to bring this in and offer it domestically.

I do have some connections though, and will see if I can speed up that process.

To mistresszariah1's post:

You stated that you own a tool and die shop. Have you ever taken a close look at the Pear, and throught of reproducing it?

MasterJoe50 -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/12/2008 8:47:12 AM)

In reply to ThinkingKitten...

What caused these to be 'nasty' were the spikes or pointed tips on the end of the blades. They 'were meant' to eventually cause a slow painful death to it's victim.

However, they don't need to be 'nasty' in today's world. Without the spikes or sharp pointed tips on the ends of the blades, they really wouldn't consist of much more than an 'elaborate dilator'.

With more and more people getting into dilation and fisting these days, (as seen in those 'Interest Lists'), I'm sure these would be in a lot of people's 'toybox', if they were available.

Might not be 'your cup of tea', but I do see a good potential market for these...

Aristaios -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/14/2008 12:34:14 AM)

The device itself would be easy enough for me to make.  The difficult part is making it so that as you retract it, it does not 'pinch'.  This is probably the reason that you cannot find these on the market....... but if you have any ideas about taking care of that problem, I would be glad to look at it.

TheGorenSociety -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/14/2008 12:44:55 AM)

The reason why you do not see them is a liability issue I made two back in the 80's and never could get anyone interested in them due to thier liability.

Leatherist -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/14/2008 8:56:10 PM)

Nodding..... too dangerous to produce-you would get your ass sued off when it injured someone. I'd avoid it, for the same reasons I would not make a pipe bomb and sell it.

Aristaios -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/16/2008 2:03:10 AM)

Well, if you were to make the pipe bomb "Just for display"....... lol

TheGorenSociety -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/16/2008 2:08:36 AM)

I have made reproductions items for display and sets over the years and even that has a lot of risk liability wise.

SimplyMichael -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/16/2008 9:53:25 AM)

To extract it, why not use an inflatable buttplug inside it?

irrumatrix -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/16/2008 9:15:53 PM)

I remember seeing one used in an insex video that I believe had something about a pear in the title, so I'm sure you could just call up PD and ask to borrow his.

Hollangrad -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/17/2008 4:12:23 AM)

On the issue of "Pinching," What if you were to give the device more of a curved inlay amongst the seam?  This would limit the amount that the flesh would sit apon the areas of risk when it is retracted.

mistresszariah1 -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/21/2008 6:13:40 PM)

What is a pear? will you email Me info plse thks, I can reverse engineer anything

Jester0587 -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/22/2008 1:59:52 PM)

It seems fairly simple.  My idea is to double wrap the "leaves" as it were in leather.  A bit more difficult to clean but even if there is pinching at least it won't be rediculously painful, at least no more painful then having yourself stretched out around it.

Leatherist -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/23/2008 12:12:02 AM)

It's much easier to just do this with an inflatable plug. People spend way too much time worrying over the details of something origionally intended to maim.

Lynnxz -> RE: Looking for someone with machine shop skills (5/26/2008 7:44:51 PM)

I asked about the pear just for you. Aren't I sweet? Hahaha, jk, but here it is.
