I'm thinking about getting involved in the community where I live. I may like girls, but I don't see puppy play as anything sexual, more nurturing than anything, so I wouldn't have a problem with having a male owner. My question is, is it even worth attempting to start that kind of a relationship with a male, or is it all about the sex? If you are (were) into pup stuff and were approached by someone who wasn't physically attracted to you, would you still be interested? Still be willing to give belly rubs and ear scratches? Or would you rather not deal with it?

What, don't you trust us men? You've stated that you'd be happy with a male owner, and that you wouldn't want it to have any sexual component. If you're open and honest about that with any prospective man, then it's only an issue of trust. I say go for it. You may end up with a male owner, or a couple, You'll be opening up the odds of a good owner and gaining perspective on how the interaction could be different with a man. And to answer your question, if you approached me, I'd be interested in playing with you and seeing what it's like. I've never done puppy play before. I suspect there are a lot of men out there who would like to try it, just to see what it's like.

I've done pain play with no sexual content so I don't see why there would be a problem finding someone who would be interested in doing puppy play with you without a sexual component. What you need to do is find someone who wants a puppy. There is nothing unusual about a kink without sex. Of course, in my case, Libby might have an interest in what she could do with said puppy. She can be VERY inventive and demanding. Life with a poly, bi switch can be very interesting

I know a few people who would do so happily. For my part, I'm just not interested in animal play in any form with humans, I have two largish dogs who want ears and tummy rubs and cuddles at the drop of a hat and who wake me up at all hours by romping on the bed and giving me whet sloppy kisses (One is a male Malamute and t'other is a female Malamute/Husky cross). I understand the OP's concern It seems like when joining a BDSM community and looking for a Puppy Play Non sexual relationship would be like looking for a Neddle in a Hay Stack. Yes Sexual Connection is a Focus of MANY in the lifestyle and I could see where it would be a dauntint task to go to your local community where NO ONE might even indulge in puppy play and find yourself the Odd Man Out. You might want to check into Furry Communities now you might not have one in your area but you can find a close one. Furry isn't always BDSM so you would again have to be careful who you told your desires to because some would be very accepting of your desire to be a puppy to a Male owner however would not be accepting of your BDSM Interests. In the end it comes down to this. What's the WORST that could happen? You meet a whole bunch of new people and make friends with some and still don't have an owner. At least you met new people right? I saw go for it and enjoy yourself. Steel

Don't worry too much about what others maybe into. Work out what you need and search for someone compatable with that.

Thanks everyone. So far the search for munches or community events has turned up nothing so it looks like I'll have a long while to figure everything out. Maybe my Mistress'll come back. One can only hope.

Start your own munch or group start a puppy group or puppy/pony group .Why do you need someone else to have already done the work ?If it is your passion go forth and be that puppy U others shall follow and find you .As far as the whole no sexual YES it is out there , just make clear and up front from the start and do ot mix your signals .

I meant "I may like girls, but" as in "I'm a lesbian but I as long as it was non sexual I wouldn't have any problem having a male owner"
