I'm so glad to read you had such a nice evening with the couple you met via CM. I met my boy here, have gone on to meet many others and made quite a few friends. Recently, Reality and I met Marc and Julie who also met via this site, and who recently got married - may they have many happy years together.
I know people tend to whine and moan about people they've met from sites such as CM, but I can honestly say I don't regret meeting a single person. Hopefully I'll get to meet many more!
