The documentary Susan for Now takes the viewer on a journey of discovery through what most people know only vaguely as a mysterious and taboo subculture: the world of sadomasochism.

It is so good to see a positive statement instead of the negatives usually seen in film and the papers.

Status: offline 		Very cool.  I want to own it but I cannot find it anywhere.  Looks like that movie is nearly an hour long and sounds perfect to show my group.

Status: offline 		wonderful video, thanks for sharing it.. its nice to see some positive stuff out there in 'media land'... perhaps there will be more positive documentaries eventually.. speaking of which, I first found out there was such a thing as pony play by watching HBO.. that is also where I saw some other activities..

Status: offline 		It'll be illegal come January because of the new "Violent Pornography" law in the UK, which outlaws images depicting injury to "breast, genitals or anus" in a "sexually gratifying" context. So if (a) the video is saved on your hard drive (and it might sit in your cache because you watched it) and (b) you watched it because you found it sexually gratifying (or it could be proved to be sexually gratifying because it shows naked women), and because it (c) shows several needles being inserted  into a woman's breasts, which could be argued constitutes serious injury, (the guidance on the law explicitly states "Serious injury could include the insertion of sharp objects") then on the 26th of January that video will become illegal to have on your hard drive in the UK.

As stupid as that seems.

Don't get me started on how the law contains the subjective terms "grossly offensive, disgusting and of an obscene character". On that score if you get hauled before a judge because of the new law you have to hope you have 12 enlightened members of the public on the jury.
