Only thing is,he`s been seen playing and photographed playing golf months after August '03'.

http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,23697389-5001021,00.html

"
US President George W. Bush says he stopped playing golf in 2003 out of respect for the families of Americans killed in the war in Iraq.
"I don't want some mum whose son may have recently died to see the Commander-in-Chief playing golf," Mr Bush said in an interview with Yahoo and Politico.com."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He gives up frick`n golf in solidarity with the soldiers and their families.But get`s caught lying about it.
He mocks their service.To see the words Commander-in-Chief connected with him is embarrassing.
With all the holes in Iraq, I thought the purpose of the war was to turn Iraq into a golf course.
He has the market on guile cornered,that's for sure-gets it from his dad-but not as adroitly.
The elder bush, being a former spook-knew better than to leave a paper trail.
My god! The poor man! Having to give up his golf game! (And to think... only 4000+ families have only given up our sons, our fathers and some of the women in our lives for this useless, deeply costly excercise in empire building.) At least now, after we've established Iraq as a shining democracy in the middle east, the women of Iraq are treated as equals, and the flow of oil from there has brought the price down to below $1.00 a gallon at the pump, he can go back to cheating on the greens.
