        I liked the duality of this.  My old profile pic was more fun, but circumstances change, and it came down.

I find my sanity in a primitive forest every time I try, I just love it there and so I feel that this picture is reflective of my spirit.

That, and my Charlie Brown shirt highlights my playful side. A bonus is that it's a very high resolution picture so anyone who's really interested can get a better look at me.

Mine, of course, is Me.  I always put up a pic of Myself so no one is fooled by thinking I look other than the way I do.  I try to update it every few months.

Mine is me of course.  I didn't care for any of the stock pics,  and prefer originality.  I've thought about having a friend draw me as a were lynx, holding a flogger, but with the pic that small, alot of detail wouldn't be able to be visable.

i used a photo of myself out of curiosity, to see if i would get more emails with or without it. i actually was more popular when i had the fishy avatar, so i'll probably switch back sooner or later [&:]

i chose that particular one because, between the angle, the low resolution, and the soft focus, it doesn't look much like me [8D] Oddly enough, it got rejected the first time i submitted it (my head is obscene or offensive), so i tweaked the scale a bit and they accepted it, but rotated it 90 degrees. Go figure.

i liked the stock picture i used of the candle flame, that was very me. To Master's forge, i am His fire, sparks, and muse. i crank the bellows, too : ) but someone else started using it, and i have to be different... can't help it.

Haha, mine is a pic of a friend and I.. he's holding the camera so you can't really see anything. We had suddenly decided in the middle of a photoshoot that we needed a "myspace" picture... you know the ones, the awesome kind taken in the mirror with a camera phone?

I thought it was cute ^_^

I fail to see how your pix could be offensive petdave... haha.. some of the picture rejection messages are funny.

I picked mine before my Profile Pic was Approved and it was a Anime Guy and a Girl but although it was cute it never really quite fit so I went with the BioHazard Symbol cause what I say tends to upset some people and I figured it fit well. That and I have always thought that symbol was cool.

SO Basically I have my Avatar cause it looks cool to me.

i believe it is, RS
. i always wondered why people had two of the same pics on their profiles. it dawned on they set it up that way so when they change or add pics their profile still has a pic while new pics are awaiting approval. i wish it was easier to change the order.
the new pics on your profile...RS are great!

thanks everyone for adding to this thread. i love learning about why people do the things they do.
i also perved some new profiles that i probably never would have, if it were not for this thread.
