something that sometimes worries me about BDSM 101 kinds of things is that submissive women get kind of left out of the teaser trailers and such. I know that it's probably not what the vanilla public wants to see, and portraying a domme is much more feminist friendly, but all it takes is a collar being buckled around a girl's neck (or something to that effect) to give a nod to that part of bdsm. For some reason in most of the introductory things I've seen, they're much more comfortable talking with men about their submission than women. From the trailer, the interviews don't seem to continue this trend but the clips of the woman dressing and hitting the flogger on her hand do. I dunno, it's a mild irritation of mine. I mean, as a society we can accept a guy getting spanked but why can't we get used to the idea of a woman begging to be slapped as well, with this well-placed subliminal messages?
