Well I guess I'm one of the power mongering insano doms out there (although I see myself as an owner not a dom).

A slave has no rights (my opinion) other than those given to her by her owner either verbally or in a contract (to me a contract implies rights and therefore I do not have one with my slave).

Can a slave change her mind? Absolutely - that is entirely different from having the right to leave.

Now all that being said:

I believe that you can, and should, as others have suggested talk to your dom about this.

It is (usually) physically possible for a slave to run or walk, cut off communication, etc.

Most slaves would never live by my definition.

Often when owners are 100% serious about owning a slave that has committed to them is to take (I was given all of these by my slave - she offered, how lucky is that? :-) their financial resources away (at a minimum, I won't go into anything more extreme :-).

I would suggest that you never look for another dom while under the care of one (unless he is involved in the process) already.

As others have said, if you have a term of contract/agreement it would go a long ways with a new master that you served out that term if your owner denied you release.

I would also suggest that if no term of service was ever agreed upon or mentioned as you established this relationship that you were not responsibly (my opinion) taken through the process of 'informed consent' in which case I'd say you have every right to leave.

Tal,

If you are a slave you have no rights....you may beg for your release if your current Master chooses to release you then this is His decision not yours........some play at being a slave and only portray this title when in the bedroom.......this all depends on whether you are a roleplayer or not....not that I have anything against roleplayers cause I dont.....but if you are looking at this as a lifestyle or living this 24/7 then be honorable in your submission to your Master..........
