ORIGINAL: Termyn8or Prayers don't even do shit for the pope, and they will do nothing for you. Study, ask questions. If you are lost and the teachers have no answers use the internet. Even CM. You would be surprised how many people here are accomplished professionals in one field or another, and many would not mind taking a few minutes to write an answer. I might not be able to give to any specific help, but others could. And I wish you well but you don't want my prayers. Me and God don't get along until he shapes up. But take my advice, the answers are out there. And that is what you need. How would you like to be operated on by an incompetent doctor who made it through school because of some divine intervention ? See what I mean ? Learn, that is the key to success. God should not intervene if you know what I mean. Especially if you really want to help people. Just forget about the fact that you will make more than me, if you want to help people, know what you are doing. At the very least I hope what you are asking for in the way of intervention is not to give you some magical luck, but to make you able to comprehend the material. That's what you need if you are to have people's lives in your hands. There are a couple of people here who really know their shit when it comes to this subject. Don't be afraid to ask a technical question, the worst that can happen is that you don't get an answer. And there is always the web. If you want to do this, use every resource at your disposal. Apply yourself. If you are into religion, let me step into that vernacular for a moment. Does God answer every prayer ? Yes but sometimes the answer is no. But nonetheless accept my best wishes. I might not be able to help in this field, but I am all for anyone who wants to better themselves. Like they say - JUST DO IT ! T Thank You for Your advice. I will indeed seek to constantly learn by whatever means necessary, as I have up to this point, even during all this time since I was supposed to have graduated. Regarding searching for the answers that are out there, let me just say that google is my friend and that we are very well acquainted [8D]. Believe me, I take my future role very seriously. As to devine intervention, I only ask for a chance to be readmitted to a nursing program. I came very close to graduating last year, as in I missed it by a few points in one of my classes, and unfortunately, if a student doesn't make a C or above in any one class, they are dropped from the program, regardless of the grades in the other classes in the curriculum. Also, I was one of the top scoring students in my class on the exit HESI exam (the exam every nursing student must pass in order to graduate), so I like to think I mostly know my stuff [;)]. My point is that I do realize how much hard work is involved in becoming a nurse, and that without it, success is impossible. There is a saying that God helps those who help themselves and I have no illusions that any divine power will magically transform me into a nurse. In any case, I do appreciate Your time in responding to my request [sm=smile.gif]
