Plans, no plans, thoughts, ideas, for/about the holiday weekend??.. Post them here..rant about it, whatever it is....its the Memorial Day Weekend.....

staying home this year ...the girls will be sent to grandpas for the weekend (YES!! doing happy single mother dance) and i'm having fun with someone special ...like a Sunday afternoon picnic on the beach...

Well, it's going to be my last Memorial Day weekend in the States, so I'm packing and cleaning house. I may have my mother smoke some ribs for Monday and have a beer (Moose Drool - sounds gross but it's an excellent brown ale!) but other than that, I don't have any plans. And Sambamans - you rock!!! From one single mom to another, have a great weekend!

For the most part, the weekend goes unplanned. I've just been invited to lunch on Monday with family at Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canadian pavilion at EPCOT's International Showcase, Walt Disney World. It's been a couple of years since I've been there, so it should be good. Other than that, the rest of the weekend is pretty open. For those traveling this weekend in the US, remember patience is your friend. ;-)

I'm going to take the Metro to the Vietnam Memorial and check out the Rolling Thunder. [:)] I wish I was riding.....

my special someone is going to be out of the country on a vacation he planned before i came along and 'ROCKED HIS WORLD!" rofl...anyhoo, i'm going to have a quiet weekend, make a big sunday dinner for my kids and friends and just lay low and relax...maybe some girly stuff like bubble baths and facials and hair masks. yup, i'm definitely a girl becuase that sounds exciting to me lol.

no plans...nobody has room for me to visit them right now....and i never been to a july 4th fireworks thingy.....just think...me in a bikini... mmmmmmmm

i am still in semi shock that i have the whole 3 days off. no set in stone plans yet, but it looks like something is going to happen, beides washing my uniforms.

If all goes as I ambitiously hope, I'm going to get rid of 200 boxes of misc. stuff that has been in storage forever so I can cut that bill out of the monthly budget. Oh to have a team of big, strong sub men around this weekend to help me. sigh

We have a bank holiday this weekend which means monday is given of work (for most). Im in the UK. I will be working as usual, having a bbq for my customers which will be fun but still work. Did i mention i never get a day off [:o]

I will be spending extra time with my um before I leave for Washington DC Monday afternoon [yea, most of the daylight hours in airports and traveling], so packing, time with um, then time with my bf on Sunday; then on Monday, morning with my um, lunch before heading to the airport. Thats my 'long weekend' before training on Tuesday.
