Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Thank you FullCircle

Finally, someone actually understands what I am trying to do.

If you had posted this in professional services they wouldn’t have been able to comment.
Good luck with your project it sounds like you’re trying to put an everyday face to this lifestyle rather than the glossy imagery that paints a fantasy world I see all the time on the net.
Good luck with it.

CruelDesires -> RE: Bondage models required (5/25/2008 3:17:21 PM)

The Nigerian scammer comment made me chuckle. Ive had pictures on numerous BDSM sites and have yet to receive an email from one. Maybe I am too homely? [:-]

This is my work, my life, my joy. I give 100% to what I do, I am out there everyday, to me the Jackasses are the part timers and closet cases who play on the scene and then think they have some kind of informed opinion as to what it is really about.

So here is a suggestion, any Pro's out there want to comment, please feel free, your opinion will be noted, Red, put a profile pic up and some background I will take your comments onboard. I'm not arrogant (well, no more then any other Dom), and I do want to be a helpful person on this site, just feel there have been a few ignorant comments posted on this thread that said more about the orignators then anything useful.

The best way to "offer help" is not to be so arrogant. This is like your first posting to a forum and you've already: 1) insulted people who don't put a picture in their profile 2) insulted people who don't live BDSM 24/7 and called them "ignorant part timers."

You posted something (in the wrong forum) and didn't give enough info. You got a negative reponse or two because of it. It happens, get over it. This is the internet. You're lucky no one insulted you or turned it into a meaningless flame war...yet you're insulting them? Just silly.

BDSM is made up of more than just "pros" just like the rest of the world. If you want to help, it helps people to step off the high horse for a moment so you can actually relate to them.

FullCircle -> RE: Bondage models required (5/25/2008 3:24:15 PM)

Actually you'll find you get more scammers if you use certain wording in your profiles because they use bots to seek keywords such as: Seeking, Love, Lonely, Millionaire.
I know this because I've pointed out the fact I'm a millionaire many times and they always come after me.[8|]

GreedyTop -> RE: Bondage models required (5/25/2008 3:26:54 PM)

and you have yet to respond to me, FC......I'm wounded!

sasseeNshy -> RE: Bondage models required (5/25/2008 3:31:31 PM)

Sniff...........money??? Oh dayum I picked up on a bot word..........my bad

FullCircle -> RE: Bondage models required (5/25/2008 3:31:55 PM)

Ms Greedy I'm sorry but your story about being stranded in Africa was just a little bit too much of a turn on for me to change events for the better for you.

And your photo is where ?

Sorry, but come on, reality check, your just another unknown with an opinion, easy to do when your just a cartoon image, like I have already said, if you are out here on the scene, I value your opinion, hiding in the closet, sorry, your just noise

This may sound harsh, but some of us are real, we do real BDSM in real life, this is not arrogence, this is frustration with the people who sit in forums, post messages to threads and actually don't ever put their toe in the water, let alone have the courage to be open about the lifestyle they want to lead

dawntreader -> RE: Bondage models required (5/25/2008 3:42:59 PM)

i have actually worked for trade with a photographer who is building his fetish portfolio. The models are also building their portfolios so no money is exchanged and everyone walks out with what they are seeking~

Ofcourse this is not as hardcore as Hogtied.com ...

You're funny, really. My photos are all over my profile, I have no reason not to have them there.

Just because you parade around does not make you any more real than anyone else, sorry. Some people enjoy a world OUTSIDE of BDSM and enjoy being people of different tastes. Just because people don't run around in leather 24/7 does not make them any less involved in the "scene.". Some people have jobs, families and other interests; sorry to burst your bubble but BDSM isn't everything there is to life.

As I said, your "offer for help" is meaningless if you just come off as an arrogant know it all. Especially since you already said you only have "five years experience" when others have much more and still manage to be a bit more humble than you.

OK, I'll comment.  I thought your initial advertisement rated about a 9 on a ten-point avoid-this-guy scale.  You didn't make it clear whether the pictures were destined for a commercial application or for personal use.  There was no mention of a model release.  Most of the professional fetish photographers both here or in Europe have quite a stable of willing models garnered through professional contacts or social, person-to-person gatherings and don't need to create a brand-new identity on a chat site to find some.  All in all, it caused the hair on the back of my neck to lift up a bit.

As to who I am.  My name is John Warren, same as the screen name.  I've written five books on BDSM, four of them with Greenery Press. I've run Diversified Services, a BDSM supply company, and Inner Exploration, a consortium of both professional dominant and professional submissive women as well as leading The Boston Dungeon Society, a 300+ person BDSM group in New England.

GreedyTop -> RE: Bondage models required (5/25/2008 4:54:39 PM)

ok, while I've done some TFP stuff (and good luck to you).. I'm going to risk sounding snarky here:

As you see, I have my photo up (and many more on my profile)..or..... is it REALLY me? How do you know I havent  snaked the pics from someone/somewhere else?
Now, there are a few people on this site (and others) that I have met (and some I've played with).  They can vouch that the pics are indeed of me.
However.. having the pics up doesn't necessarily make me any more or less REAL than you are.  To assume that because someone has a picture or not is a gauge of how WEAL and TWUE they are is absurd.

Just sayin'

Hey...stop that! I am looking for a "Really-True" Dom...Are you saying the pictures I'm viewing are fake?  LOL

To the OP,

I love the idea! A friend of mine is an accomplished Rope-Top and photographer. He was gracious enough to take some beautiful bondage pics of me.  When I am old and gray, I plan to show the whippersnappers how flexible and naughty Grannie was in her younger days.....

peace,
dovie
