My Master found me here as well.  He contacted me to say hello and we started chatting online.  Before long, we were talking on the phone and soon afterward, met in person.  We've been together for nearly 18 months now.

This is a fantastic thread. My favorite.

I met some great people on CM. Not quite found my one yet but there has been some very interesting perspectives. I like the site. I like the people here. This thread really has refocused some fading expectations.

I've met play partners and friends here, but so far no long term romances or additions to the household.  Came close a few times!  In spite of the wackjobs on the internets, there are many fine people on the forums, and I am glad to be here.

I've had some good conversations from this site, but most of the females I met that I intitially liked were using other people's photos or just psychotic.

Met most of my subsmissives in real life.... they are not that hard to miss once you actually meet one.

I met my Sir on a vanilla dating site, although his profile wasn't that vanilla sounding - lol. But I'd never even considered a BDSM relationship before and it took me 4 months to get the courage up to talk to him....  I opened the conversation by saying I'd watched the movie 'Secretary' and found it very disturbing yet thrilling and I had no idea what to do next.....
He has most certainly shown me what to do next.... ;-)

And he introduced me to CM too.....

Master and i found each other on CM in Nov. '05 and i have been His property and live-in servant since Dec. '05. 
 
There are more such stories of successful connections being made through CM on the Positive Experiences forum.

Although I met some Doms and played a bit on alt, my first owner/Master found me here the first day I put up my profile. That lasted 6 months and ended due to long distance issues.  I contacted Master (again here on cm) soon after and we have been together now for over two years. We are ecstatically happy.

My wife and I found Our first slave here, though (due to circumstances of distance, etc.) that relationship didn't last but a few months.

I met My submissive on Alt.com, and W/we've been together for five months, so far--and are eagerly looking forward to the next five months!

Met my first sub here more than 7 yrs ago, but it only lasted 5 yrs.  My second was only 2 yrs.  I am currently looking now, but It is hard for a sub to start with a Dom, some think they will be abused, or not respected, or come up against a serial killer or something weird.  It is hard for a Dom, because sometimes, like me, they cant give a picture because of vanilla life, so are totally ignored by potential subs, even if in the same town.
